PrinceWatercress plays Donkey Kong Land 2 - Part 14 of 15

You thought you could escape The Lost World? You thought wrong! You'll have to play through this world if you want to be K. Rool once and for all!

All maps by Shiny.

Now that you're done getting everything up until the first battle with Kaptain K. Rool, it's time to go to The Lost World. Klubba's Kiosk will be on the world map to the left of Gloomy Gulch, but now that you have 47 Kremkoins, you can finally pay the toll and go to the Lost World. Remember to bring plenty of lives!

The Lost World

Jungle Jinx

Bonus areas: One (1)

Unlike the other worlds, there are no Kremkoins to collect. When you find a bonus area and complete it, you'll get the DK Coin.

The giant tires may not be here from Country 2, but the spikes still are! Be sure to jump over them.

When you see two hooks and a Zinger, drop down and head right to find the bonus area. Make it to the other side in one piece to get the DK Coin for this level.

When you see a platform above you, you can take the hook next to the edge of it, then take another hook above that to get to the checkpoint.

Black Ice Battle

Bonus areas: One (1)

Just like in Country 2, you'll be starting at the top and heading for the bottom. Watch out for Zingers as you go down slopes.

After the first slope with the Zingers, helicopter spin to the left with Dixie. You'll find invisible hooks leading to an area to the left that you wouldn't be able to reach any other way, and at the end of that is the bonus area. Survive all the slopes and the Zingers to get the DK Coin. If you have Dixie, this is much easier.

Fiery Furnace

Bonus areas: One (1)

Just like in Country 2, you'll have to launch yourself out of barrel cannons that quickly rotate. You won't have the variety of barrel cannon types like you did on Super Nintendo, but it is still by no means easy. If you mess up, you're going back. You'll also see the return of the balloons from Red Hot Ride, which also appeared here on Country 2.

Midway through, you'll be able to transform into Squitter. You'll be able to make web platforms, but you'll have to bounce off Flitters to get to some balloons if you want to reach the end.

The bonus area is at the end. When you reach dry land, superjump to the left to find the bonus area. Activate the Krockhead barrel and leap off Flitters to make it to the other side to get the DK Coin. Win or lose, the chest near the bonus area will always re-spawn, so you can always get an extra life by smacking it into an enemy.
