PrinceWatercress plays Donkey Kong Land 2 - Part 8 of 15

...and already, we're done with the third world.

All maps by Shiny.

Bramble Scramble

Bonus areas: One (1)

Unlike Bramble Blast, you'll be doing a lot more climbing on vines that blasting out of barrel cannons. Remember to move the Control Pad diagonally at vine intersections to get to where you need to go. Watch out for Zingers!

Shortly after the start, you'll be able to turn into Squawks. You'll also do it later on in the stage. Fly safely, and take out any flying enemies that get in your way.

Shortly after the first "No Squawks" sign, you can climb up to find the bonus barrel. Climb around on the vines and collect all the stars to get the Kremkoin here.

At the start of the second Squawks section, go right past the beginning of the banana path and keep going right to find the DK Coin.

Mudhole Marsh

Bonus areas: Two (2)

Jump to the right off the top of the second cattail  to get on the hooks. To the left is a Banana Coin, while the right leads to the rest of the stage.

The first bonus barrel is signified by an up arrow made of bananas. You'll have to bounce straight upwards off the two Neckys here to get into it. Collect the stars as you jump from cattail to cattail to get the first Kremkoin.

The second bonus barrel involves a cannonball. Grab it, hit the second Krockhead barrel and take it to the cannon. Make it all the way to the end and you'll get the second Kremkoin. Win or lose, you'll get the DK Coin when you re-enter the stage.

Rambi Rumble

Bonus areas: Two (2)

Shortly after the start, you'll find a Flitter flying in place. It will be under a barrel cannon. Leap off the Flitter into the barrel cannon to enter the first bonus area. Grab the cannonball and let the enemies come to you to get the first Kremkoin.

When you reach the top, jump into the barrel cannon above the Zinger to transform into Rambi. Much like with Squitter, sticky floors won't affect Rambi. After seeing two Krushas, you'll have to leap to the right off two Zingers to find the second bonus area. Collect all the stars as you make your way to the right to get the second Kremkoin.

After the "No Rambi" sign, keep to the left as you drop down. You'll find the DK Coin.

King Zing Sting

King Zing's weak spot it the singers on the bottom of his back. King Zing will fly around, and while he is easy to hit the first two times, he will produce smaller Zingers that explode. You'll have to fly around the room to stay away from King Zing and hit him two more times while dealing with the smaller Zingers...then he becomes amazingly fast. You'll have to hit him from behind from a distance - and you may have to hit him while he is off-screen - to get the coup de grace and beat this boss battle.
