The Super Vidya Brothers play The Pirates of Dark Water - Part 3 of 8

Our adventure continues in the village of Pandawa, which provides a rather unique way to get an item that I've never seen in any other beat-'em-up: shaking the screen. Read on!

Pandawa

The cages that move up and down are much like the rocks: approach them, and you're getting smacked. Thankfully, they can easily be destroyed. Also, there will be barrels coming from the sides of the screen, as well as narrow alleyways where you will not be able to move around very much. There are also barrels that contain items when destroyed.

Urie is an archer who can hit you from a distance. Whatever you do, don't move in a straight line when approaching Urie to keep from getting shot at.

The lady pirates will block your attacks if you attack them while they are moving backwards.

To get the Minga Melon, you will have to continuously throw enemies to shake the screen for long enough to move the Minga Melon from out of your grasp and onto the crates below.

The boss here is Jargis. Jargis has some reach with his whip, and he can also grab you and throw you around with it. Throw enemies into him whenever you can, and execute running attack as well. Beating Jarvis will net you the second Treasure of Rule.
