Turns out, there is a barrel at the top that is flashing white. Stand on it and wait for the chili sauce to reach you. The barrel will float, and you'll be able to take it to the right to enter the pipe and do another section of this level, where you're staying on the platform and trying to maneuver your way to the top. The food may seem tempting but don't get it. You may not have enough time to grab it all and get back on the barrel in time.
After that second chili sauce deluge segment, you'll encounter a small geyser shortly afterward. The first one can hurt you, while a barrel is on top of the second one. Land on the barrel and let the water jets move you around. You'll end up in another pit of chili sauce, where you'll finally be able to continue manually.
