DeceasedCrab plays Rocky Rodent - Part 16 of 16

Reposting the boss strategy, and then posting what happens afterward.

Level 17: Ritmo Clock Tower 3

Believe it or not, this bulldog guy with a jetpack and a rocket launcher is the final boss.

If you die here, you'll get an extra hit point on your next life. You'll get the red mohawk, which will work well here as you'll need something to keep yourself from dying.

The spike pit underneath all the gears not only contain pipes that spew out enemies, red mohawk power-ups and bombs, but they also contain springs. You'll need to jump onto these to reach the Bad Bulldozer (yes, that's his name) and hit the guy. If you have the hair when you hit this guy from underneath, you'll pass right through him without damage and you'll hit him in typical Rocky Rodent fashion, so keep that in mind if you're having trouble reaching the guy.

Use your hair to knock back everything - the bombs, the rockets, the enemies - everything. The life you save may be your own.

In case a red mohawk power-up does show up, it can disappear. This is lame.

Ending

The Don Garcia bit is just fucking horrible. DeceasedCrab banging his head on the desk just describes how I feel about it.

Also, Rocky Rodent gets a hair erection after being kissed by Melody. Dear God, this ending is just fucking horrible. It's even worse than Bubsy's...or Bokosuka Wars', or whatever the hell that game is called.

Also, the game was called Nitro Punks in Japan by a bunch of people who entered a contest in Famicom Magazine.
