DeceasedCrab plays Rocky Rodent - Part 4 of 16

We end up finding a new adventure: the Metro Tower and the Monster Egg!

Level 5: Sunrise St.
(continued)

The green armadillos are just faster versions of the blue ones.

The flower pot gives you a green top knot ponytail. What does it do? Why, it's a longer-ranged version of the red mohawk!

When you beat the level, the skateboard guy tells you about the Monster Egg: a egg large enough to make 100 omelettes that can be found in the Metro Tower.

Level 6: Metro Tower 1

Gee, apparently the green ponytail has an extra use besides giving the game a nice Castlevania vibe: swinging off hooks. Press B at the right time to make a nice jump that will get you to another hook or platform in a hurry.

There are guys who throw barrels a la Donkey Kong. Take out the barrels (or jump over them), then whack the guy throwing them when you reach the end of the incline.

The green top knot gets rid of those cracked blocks in an unusual fashion: instead of destroying them, it basically throws them away.

You remember those viewports at tourist attractions that you could place a quarter in and look through the peepholes to get a much better sight of something for a few minutes? Well, these things are here in the Metro Tower, and they shoot fireballs that bounce off the floor at an angle. Do yourself a favor and avoid the fireballs while jumping over the viewports. Notice I said "jumping over," since they take a quick rest between fireballs.

The mobile platforms swing around when you jump onto them. The hooks that move across the ropes on a movable pulley can be moved to the other side by simply swinging back and forth on them with the green ponytail.

When you hear the crackle of electricity, there are force fields nearby. Wait for the force fields to stop shooting out electricity before passing through.
