PrinceWatercress plays Ratchet and Clank - Part 15 of 38

Our journey takes us to Gaspar in search of a pilot's helmet. This helmet will be helpful later on, and not only that, we can get both Skill Points and both Gold Bolts that are here right away.

We have two planets to go. We need to go to Orxon to continue with the plot, but we also have the option to go to Gaspar. We'll be going to Gaspar for this video.

Blarg Depot - Gaspar

The Gadgetron Vendor here will sell the Walloper. You'll need it soon, so get it before you do anything on this planet. It uses no ammunition, and punches enemies very, very hard.

The lava here is not instant death, but it will hurt if you land in it.

4:02 - Near the start is an alternate route. Drop down here, and be careful on the platforms as you swing from place to place. You'll need to target the refueling stations on the ground that the ships are being moored to with the Devastator, although you can also use other weapons including the wrench. When you've got the green target, you'll know that your rocket will hit it. If you can destroy them all, you'll get a Skill Point.

10:48 - Near the last two refueling stations, you'll find a few platforms that lead to one of the Gold Bolts in this stage. Use the orange-and-black platform near it to get back to the start of the level.

Back at the start of the planet, you'll have mechanical creatures that will chomp at you up close and more robots with guns. At this rate, they should be easy enough to handle.

You can hop into the turrets. Aim with the D-Pad or left stick and fire with Circle. You'll need to use it to break down some seemingly unbreakable doors, but you can also use it to shoot down the numerous ships flying around in the sky. Shooting down five ships will net you a Skill Point.

The black sphere-shaped robots will charge at you and self-destruct if you get close enough, but if you hit them with the Walloper, you'll destroy them in one hit. You can also break the gray metal boxes with the Walloper, too.

At the tanks, use the Glove of Doom to weed out all the robot enemies that are hiding in wait to shoot you.

At the end of the area, you'll find the Pilot's Helmet. You'll be needing it later.

23:09 - There is another area past the Pilot's Helmet that you can glide to with the Heli-Pack. If you can fight off all the enemies and avoid the red-hot magma, you'll find another Gold Bolt that is close to your ship.

With that, that's everything for Gaspar!
