 I have no idea what is going on here; I just know this is based on a French movie that I will probably never see.

World 1-1

This game is based on the movie of the same name, and you play as Mimi-Siku, the titular character, through all of it.

Left and Right let you move around, B shoots a blow dart, A lets you jump, Down lets you duck, and holding Select while using the Control Pad lets you look around and make it easier to take down enemies and see what is ahead. This will definitely be useful in the later levels.

At the bottom of the screen is the current amount of blow darts you have, your current health and your current leaves. You can have up to five hits, and bottomless pits will instantly kill you.

While you can pick up darts that you find, you can also get some from jumping on enemies. The snakes are okay to jump on, but the porcupines are a no-go on that front and should be rid of with the blow darts when necessary.

Sometimes you will find Mimi-Siku's pet spider Maitika. If you find it, you'll get a web icon in the lower-right corner of the screen, and you can hold Down and press A to unleash the spider to get rid of one enemy. You can get higher bounces from jumping on enemies, which allows you to reach certain areas. Once you use Maitika as an item, you won't be able to pick Maitika back up.

Pans are the pick-up for the jungle stages, and if you collect 30 of them (not 50 as I originally thought) before making it to the end of a stage, you'll be able to get a bonus life. If you collect enough pots, you can refill one of your hit points. You can also do the same if you defeat ten enemies in a stage.

You'll need to use the platforms to get through the stage, but thankfully, they aren't hard to get on.

The girl in the black swimsuit is the end of the stage. If you see another person, they are where the stage ends. Move into them to enter the next stage.

World 1-2

Blow darts will be more scarce in this stage, so conserve your ammo.

Sometimes you will find certain tiles that will activate bridges that take you to secrets. Make sure to walk everywhere as you explore stages.

The bird will move up and down as it flies back and forth, and a dart is a better option for taking it out if you see it.

Spikes do not instantly kill you, but the snapping alligators below will.

Once you touch the girl in the bathing suit, you'll enter World 2.
