PrinceWatercress plays Snail Trail - Part 2 of 2

Now with better audiovisual quality...and more strategies!

First | End

So, you're probably wondering how to get through the harder difficulties, specifically the green and red mazes.

The best thing you can do with those levels is to work backwards with these mazes. It definitely helps with the pink and blue mazes that make up the easier difficulty settings, but it definitely helps with the green and red mazes.

Just look for the opening at the far right end of the maze, then scan the maze with your eyes from that location and figure out which path doesn't take you to a dead end. You don't need to go from right to left; just start at the end and look around for a few seconds for a path that doesn't lead straight into a wall. Once you do that, you'll be able to get through the mazes quickly, especially on the hardest difficulty setting.

Also, keep in mind that it is harder to stop on a dime on the harder difficulty. You may have to tap the direction you want to go while moving back and forth, and if that doesn't work, you may have to move back and forth while stopping for a fraction of a second between movements.

If you pay attention to the mazes as they get generated on the harder difficulties, you can have a rough idea of where the path to the end might be. While it can help, it is best to combine this with working backwards just to make sure.

That's pretty much all there is. Have fun!
