It's time to wrap up Kremwood Forest and explore more of the Northern Kremisphere!

Springin' Spiders
Bonus areas: Two (2)
This time around, the Nids will be in full force. This is where you will meet the yellow Nids, which jump back and forth without ever stopping. Be careful when on them; they can carry you right into a Buzz if you are not careful.
The Warp Barrel is up and right of the second yellow Nid in the stage. Tag throw Dixie up there to reach it, or jump left when that Nid reach its highest point.
You'll meet a new enemy shortly after that second yellow Nid: Bristles. Just like the porcupine enemies from the second game, you'll want to roll into the front of him only unless you want one of your Kongs to be stabbed. The first one you see will be protecting a hidden Bear Coin.
Nids will break a barrel you are holding if they land on it.
At one point early in the stage, a yellow Nid will be bouncing up and down below you. If you drop down, you'll be able to play as Squawks once again. Squawks controls just like he did in the second game: keep pressing B to fly and use Left and Right on the Control Pad to move in those directions, press Y to spit eggs at enemies, and use Up and Down on the Control Pad to speed up and slow down your ascent respectively.
The first bonus area is shortly after the K. From where you find Squawks, go straight up until you can't go up anymore and go to the right. To the left of the green Buzz at the end. Here, you will be collecting fifteen green bananas as Squawks to get the Bonus Coin. Be careful of the first red Buzz when going up, and stay on the move, flying around the second red Buzz as you try to collect fifteen green bananas. This one may take a few tries; I barely made it with a fraction of a second left here.
When you come out of the first bonus area, send Squawks to the "No Squawks" sign to get a Bear Coin.
The pink Nid that you see immediately after the Star Barrel will take you to an invisible Bear Coin; just be ready to jump for it.
Shortly after that nid is a pink Nid that will jump really high when you see it. If you jump up and tag throw Dixie up and to the left at the peak of that Nid's jump, you can reach a platform with a steel keg on it. Koin will be nearby .Just toss the steel keg into the hole above you and wait. From there, you can tag throw into the area and grab the DK Coin. Then, slam the TNT Barrel into the wall to the left to get back on track.
At one point near the end, you will see a red bird flying into place. This is Swoopy the woodpecker, and if you jump straight near him, he'll fly at you like a lawn dart only to get caught in the wall. You can then use him as a platform to get to the G.
The second bonus area is right after this. Just drop down to the right of the pink Nid. Here, all you have to do is collect all the stars. Contradictory to what I say, you don't necessarily need Dixie and you have enough to time to go through the motions of getting all the stars in case you don't get them all at once...but why shouldn't you be able to at this point?
After this is the goal.
Brash's Cabin
When you enter Brash's Cabin, Brash will brag about his record time in Riverside Race. If you've beaten it when you enter, however, Brash becomes a sore loser. His pounding on the nearby counter will shake a branch loose and send it into the waterfall. This will take you to Arich's Hoard, where you can get another Banana Bird. You'll have to complete Bobbing Barrel Brawl to get over there first, however.
Bobbing Barrel Brawl
Bonus areas: Two (2)
Here, you will be throwing barrels and steel kegs into the water to use as platforms. You'll want to use them, as you will meet a new enemy here: Nibbla. If you get too close to him, he'll take a bite out of you and you'll take damage.
The last Warp Barrel of the game is just above the Booty Bird at the start. Take the Booty Bird out, then tag throw Dixie upwards of where it was to find it.
After you enter the Barrel Cannon that automatically shoots you up, you'll be playing as Ellie. You'll now have a gauge in the lower-right corner of the screen that shows how much water you have saved up. Press and hold L (or Down and the A Button) at the edge of a barrel to suck in water until the gauge is full, then press R or A to spit water at enemies. You can also hold Up on the Control Pad before pressing R to aim upwards. You may have to aim upwards to hit some Booty Birds that are holding barrels that you can use as platforms.
Shortly after the first Booty Bird that is hiding a steel keg, jump into the water and quickly make your way to the right for the first bonus area. Here, pick up barrels and throw them into the water to use them as platforms. If you need to, hold Up on the Control Pad. If you can make it to the end, you'll be able to get the first Bonus Coin.
Be careful when scrolling the screen; if you dropped a barrel into a pond and move the camera away from it, it will disappear and you'll have to put the barrel back in the pond.
There will be a steel keg blocked by two red Buzzes. Use the Y button to drag it towards you, and throw it over Koin's and into the wall to get the DK Coin.
Shortly after the second Booty Bird that is hiding a steel keg, there will be a pond with a Bonus Barrel at the bottom. Go right of it, and avoid the two Nik-Naks that are coming at you. They will eventually fly into the air and fly in place.. Ellie floats in water automatically, but you hit the surface of the water from mid-air after leaping off both Nik-Naks, Ellie will sink down for a little bit. If you can do it just right, Ellie will hit the Bonus Barrel. Here, jump from steel keg to steel keg without landing in the water to collect all ten stars and get the second Bonus Coin. If you kill them without landing in the Bonus Barrel, they will not re-spawn.
It won't be much longer until you reach the goal. If you see a dark circle on the ground, tag throw Kiddy onto it to get a collectible like Bananas, Bear Coins or bonus lives.
Arich's Ambush
Here's the second boss of the game: Arich the arachnid.
At the start of the battle, jump on his back and then jump to the barrel. Grab it, then ssend it into his head. This is the first hit. For best results, use Dixie, since her carrying the barrel directly over head makes it easier to smack the barrel right into his jaw where it needs to be.
For the second hit, you'll be doing the same thing, but this time around, you will have to avoid the globs of green goo before you can hit him again. Not only do you have to avoid being hit by them, but you will also have to keep them from hitting the barrel you are carrying as well. Take the barrel to the lower-left corner of the room and put it down by holding Down on the Control Pad and letting go of the Y button. When the green globs disappear, send it into his jaw again.
After the second hit, he will spit four globules; after the third hit, he will spit five. Nevertheless, staying in the lower-left will allow you to beat Arich easily, get the Patch and leave Kremwood Forest.
From here, you can go to Blunder's Booth to the north. Blunder Bear is prone to making mistakes, and he will accidentally give you hints about how to enter the Lost World. From here on out, he will give you more hints on how to enter the Lost World, which you will have to complete in order to find everything in the game and receive 103%.
There's nothing left to do on this part of the overworld, so head back to Funky's Rentals. Here, you will automatically give Funky the patch, which will allow him to repair the next watercraft that you will be able to use in the game: the Hovercraft. The Hovercraft controls much like the motorboat, but you can also hold Y to move faster and you can also move past the rocks to explore more of the overworld.
If you park the Hoverboard near where you started the game and not at Funky's Rentals, Funky Kong will tell you to bring it back if you go over there.
There is an area to the left of Bazaar's General Store that you can enter now that you have the Hovercraft: Kong Cave. At this point, you'll have to press six buttons to get a Banana Bird.
To the north of Funky's Rentals is two more worlds: Cotton-Top Cove and Mekanos. You'll also meets Bramble Bear, the Northern Kremisphere's botanist. He will tell you that he has been unable to grow or study plants as of late. You won't be able to help him until later.
We will be taking on Cotton-Top Cove first; it's the easier of the two new areas.
Cotton-Top Cove
At Cotton-Top Cove, you'll meet Blue Bear, who happens to be a blue bear. He is sad because nobody remembered his birthday.
To the north of Blue's Beach Hut is Bounty Bay, which is hidden in the wall. Another Banana Bird!
