The Gaming Corner plays Leisure Suit Larry: Wet Dreams Don't Dry! - Part 12 of 14

And now for another rarely recurring PrinceWatercress trope: Alan Grant Syndrome. Alan Grant Syndrome is the act of leaving a super-important item in the worst possible spot, either explicably or inexplicably, where virtually anybody can get it or in a spot where it would be suicide to get it.

And if you think it's weird, oh, just wait until I cover my own playthrough of the game.

Head back to Prune Headquarters after handing the USB stick back to Anu. You'll get a phone call from her. She will ask you to meet her at the Salon du Lezard. Head over there and talk to her, and you'll see Anu with BJ, who tells Anu that she has nothing on Prune before leaving. Larry checks to see what is going on, and sadly, Anu has none of Prune's secrets. You'll find out that Anu used to work at Prune until recently, thinking it would be a great stepping stone after her studies, but the job left her unfulfilled. She also found evidence that Prune was hiding something, but before she could figure out what it was, Prune fired her. Now she wants to find out what BJ is hiding, but needs to find a way to enter the headquarters herself. She then reveals that there is a secret server somewhere in BJ's skyloft, but the skyloft is super-secure. She has also noticed that BJ acts differently whenever Faith is around.

Ask Anu how to get into the skyloft. She tells you that you'll need BJ's access card and a whole lot of luck, as BJ usually carries his gold access card with him. She tells Larry to head back to Prune and ask around. Do that. You'll find BJ asking Finley to make him another access card so he can access the skyloft, and that he will mention that he may have lost his access card between the Salon du Lezard and Prune Headquarters.

Head back to the Salon du Lezard. There will be some new things to interact with: the gap in the floorboards, the door mat, the couch and the pillow. However, there is one thing in particular to click on: the tip jar. Reach in, and you'll find BJ's access card. (I haven't seen a case of Alan Grant Syndrome this bad since one of the keys in King Arthur and the Knights of Justice.) Larry will show it to Anu, and the two of you will head to the skyloft. Anu will connect her PiPhone to BJ's computer, but there is no company data on it. She will tell you to search the place. Click on the code lock on the desk, then enter the following characters through the dialogue options: "B," "=," "=," "=," "=," and "D." You'll reveal the secret server, and Anu will find some internal Prune documents to copy to her PiPhone before giving Larry a top score on Timber and proposing that she abuses BJ's desk by having wild sex on it. You'll get an Instacrap video as well as an achievement for it ("Anu"). Unfortunately, Faith shows up to spoil the fun. Anu manages to escape through the window, but Larry is left to be confronted by Faith. Regardless of the dialogue options, Faith will eventually leave, and Anu will call again. She will tell you that she jumped out of the window and used her bra as a parachute. She mentions that she has all the technical details on the new PiPhone and she will be able to use them against Prune to destory them at the right time. You'll then get an achievement ("Anu"), and at this point, you'll have only 45 points. Larry will ask if the Timber score is on the secret server, and Pi will confirm that it is.

The story will then jump to the presentation for the all-new PiPhone. Larry will try to connect to the server, but Pi offers to help. Take her help, and she will connect to it and hack your Timber score so it is at 90 points. Afterwards, the server will sink back into the floor, then Larry looks into the hole only to fall through the ceiling during the PiPhone presentation. BJ wings it at this point, and asks Larry to read through the teleprompter. The new PiPhone is then turned on, and ProtoPi finds out that Larry has activated the phone. From here, it doesn't matter which options you pick on the dialogue options, as the ProtoPi eventually explodes. From here, Larry is sent back to the 1980s in its EGA spendor. From here, open the center stall door and take the plunger, then take the wet journal off the floor near the left stall.
