After getting some supplies, we find a weakness in Kang and Kodos' plans and get the bonus mission done early.
Talk to Frink at the power plant, and he will tell you that the aliens' weakness is nuclear waste. He has loaded the hovercar with nuclear waste from the plant, which will be delivered to the alien mothership.
Mission 3: Pocket Protector
Mission: Protect Professor Frink from the aliens. Deliver the nuclear waste to the spaceship.
You'll be in the hovercar, and the nuclear waste will be in a drum on the back of the car. You will have a limited amount of time to head to the school playground and send the nuclear waste drum into the mothership. You'll want to be careful in addition to being fast, because it is possible to be hit so hard that the drum of nuclear waste comes off and you'll have to head back to the power plant to get another one.
Once you get the hovercar to the UFO, get out of the car. You'll hit the UFO with the nuclear waste drum and complete the mission. Head into the school to take on the next mission.
The circuit race is in front of the church, which is now burned down. For this one, you share the same road backwards and forwards due to how it loops, so it is possible to run into one of the competitor cars and get turned all the way around. If that happens, use your map to get back on track. Also, you'll get a free wrench on every lap. Be sure to take advantage of it.
The last race, the time trial race, is in front of the Kwik-E-Mart (now the Spook-E-Mart). If it doesn't show up, do the bonus mission (it will be active if you see Smithers near the Kwik-E-Mart), and cancel the mission in the pause menu. The race will show up. Beating all three races here gives you the Open Wheel Racer. It has five stars on speed, acceleration and handling, but only half a star for toughness.
Gil Gunderson will be near Lard Lad's Donuts. He will sell the Hoverbike, which has excellent speed and acceleration as well as great handling. Unfortunately, it doesn't take much to beat up the hoverbike. The Hearse has excellent stats all around, with no stat being below three-and-a-half. It's probably the best car in the game.
Anyway, about that bonus mission: if you talk to Smithers, he says that Mr. Burns has him running errands...and it looks like you'll be doing them for him.
Bonus Mission: Flaming Tires
Mission: Help Smithers find the items for Mr. Burns before time runs out.
This is a very quick mission, and you'll only get mere seconds for each step. Get up on the roof of the Kwik-E-Mart and get the sock garters, then talk to Smithers. From here, go get Doc Wunderstein's Tooth Powder by speeding up the fire engine and using the ladder as a ramp. Talk to Smithers again. Get the "Yes, We Have No Bananas" record by getting on top of the Lard Lad statue on the top of Lard Lad's Donuts. Talk to Smithers again. You'll complete the mission and unlock Mr. Burns' limo.
The top of the Krusty Burger (now the Zombie Burger) has the RC car. It's a very small car, and while it is very fast, it is not very tough.
Going to the school and talking to Lisa will trigger the fourth mission. She will tell you about Mr. Burns' buried nuclear waste dump, where some more nuclear waste can be found to defeat the aliens.
Mission 4: There's Something About Monty
Mission: Find a source of nuclear waste before time runs out!
Leave the school, get to your vehicle and drive to the power plant. You'll have to avoid an alien car on the way there, which is easier said than done. If you can use the cemetery as a shortcut, you'll be able to get it off your tail.
At the power plant, climb the wreckage to get to Mr. Burns office. Thankfully, this part isn't timed, and you can find a lot of coins as well as a wasp camera and a collector card on the way up. From here, try not to fall into any trap doors. In case you do, you'll be dropped back off in front of the entrance to Mr. Burns' office.
When you get all of the collector cards in the game, you'll get another track unlocked for the bonus game as well as the Itchy & Scratchy movie ticket.
