NintendoCapriSun plays Mega Man 10 - Part 7 of 10

The Robot Masters are dusted. Time to take on Wily.

After beating all eight Robot Masters, Mega Man returns to Dr. Light's lab only to find out that he has come down with Roboenza and collapses. Auto also shows up and tells Dr. Light that the medicine-making machine is gone.

A transmission from Dr. Wily plays out, and Dr. Wily reveals that he is the one behind the Roboenza epidemic as he blackmails robots into working for him to receive the cure, gloating that Mega Man will not be able to save them as the world sees his true genius. Roll shows up and gives Mega Man medicine, revealing that she had saved it in case Mega Man got infected by the virus. Mega Man gets better and heads out to face Dr. Wily for the tenth time.

Dr. Wily Castle 1

This stage includes elements from Solar Man and Sheep Man's stages.

You'l meet your first mini-boss right after the start. It is a computer that shoots out three droids that fight like Classic Robot Masters. The first one fights like Elec Man from the first game and shoots multiple Elec Beams; the second one fights like Gemini Man from the third game but flies around in a figure eight and shoots the Gemini Beam that bounces off walls, floors and ceilings; the third one fights like Wood Man from the second game and sends four leaves downwards while shooting the Leaf Shield forward. Keep watching the top of the room to see which one you're fighting.

Just when you thought you were done with the disappearing colored blocks, you'll see them again here. You'll then come across a fork in the road. Regardless of which path you take - and which hazards you encounter as a consequence, which may or may not involve dropping between spike walls - you'll end up in the same place every time.

You'll eventually face three more blasts from the past. There a droid that fights more like Napalm Man from the fifth game, which shoots the Napalm Bomb before bouncing around; there's one that fights like Ring Man from the fourth game that shoots out the Ring Boomerang while moving up and down before going to the other side of the room to do it again; there's the droid that fights like Flame Man from the sixth game that shoots the same fireballs at you that Flame Man did along with the columns of fire that travel forward. Stay close to take down the Napalm and Ring droids; keep for distance for the Flame one.

You'll later face the tank-head robots from Nitro Man's stage on the way to the third boss battle.

The third boss battle is - you guessed it - three more past Robot Masters in tiny droid form. One is Frost Man from the eighth game, which shoots out a frost wave that travels the length of the room and requires a nice jump to avoid; another is Slash Man from the seventh game that slashes at you with its spikes; there's Tornado Man from the ninth game who sends out tornadoes that blow you to the top of the room in an attempt to hit you as you jump around.

All of the boss battles here are pretty doable but also pretty fun.
