NintendoCapriSun plays Mega Man 10 - Part 3 of 10

In this entry, NintendoCapriSun takes on Blade Man and starts a little bit of Pump Man's stage.

Blade Man

Aside from the easy-to-deal-with turrets, the start of the level also introduces ax robots that leap up and down and cleave at the floor as they do.

The spiders drop down when you are under them, and they bounce around after they hit the floor.

The walls made of small square locks can be blown up with the Commando Bomb.

The purple ring-pop looking enemies are this game's version of the "low to the ground enemy that slowly moves back and forth and speeds up when you're on its level" enemy. This time around, if they damage you, they move back and forth like the spring enemies from past games but also shoot out three mortar shots.

After dealing with a small flying blue robot that shoots forward and goes down in one hit, you'll soon see the scale platforms. These platforms move on a track on the background wall, and you'll have to jump back and forth between the two platforms in order to get it to move forwards. When one goes up, the other goes down, and the platforms move as a whole. Be ready to stop for enemies when necessary.

The castle mini-boss shoots out platforms at you that you will have to jump on to shoot at the three sets of eyes on the castle. The ones to the sides also control turrets, and the shots from them explode when they hit the ground for splash damage. As long as you stay away from those shots when they hit the ground, you're good. When you beat the castle mini-boss, it surrenders with a white flag.

After a few sets of stairs where you'll have to deal with ax and spider robots, you'll have to deal with more scale platforms. Slow down when you have to deal with low-hanging walls and spiked ceilings.

Blade Man will jump onto walls and ceilings to throw a three-way blade shot at you. If he lands on the floor, he won't fire the blades and will just leap back onto a wall. The Commando Bomb is his weakness, and if the missile does not get him, the side-traveling wave from the missile hitting the walls will, and will do more damage that the bomb itself in the process. If you run out of Commando Bomb for whatever reason, hit him with the Buster from the very opposite end of the room so you can more easily avoid the blades. Also, bring an E-Tank with you so you can refill your energy.

Beating Blade Man nets you the Triple Blade, which shoots a three-way shot similar to Blade Man's.

Pump Man

The stage looks almost Shadow Man's. Wow.

The blue cylinder enemies will stick themselves to gaps in the pipes and spit at you. You'll have to shoot them down to get them out of the way. Then again, you'll probably be able to outrun them.
