NintendoCapriSun plays Mega Man 10 - Part 6 of 10

NintendoCapriSun defeats the final two Robot Masters in this entry!

Nitro Man

The green robot heads with the turret heads are pretty weird. If you shoot down the head, the turret flies away and fires at you. If you shoot the turret, the robot head accelerates towards you faster than before.

Also, Sniper Joe is at the end of the first section. He blocks with his shield and shoots when necessary, and it takes a little bit of patience - as ever - to take him out.

The flying Mettaurs are vulnerable when they stop hiding in their helmets. Watch out for that three-way shot.

If you hear a car horn, be read to jump up to avoid the buses that speed by. Watch the signs at the bottom of the screen to see where they are going to go. If you're lucky, you can hitch a ride on one!

The gold robots with the sirens on their heads that carry the shields are vulnerable only in the head. Be ready to shoot over the shield and hit them in the head. You can keep them back a little bit by shooting at the shield.

Eventually, the buses will be replaced with trucks. You can easily take them out with a Chill Spike on the ground, but save some ammo for Nitro Man. If the shot itself hits the truck, you can freeze it. Thankfully, can also jump onto them (and maybe get a E-Tank if your reflexes are good enough.)

After a drop with the bomb platforms that count down to zero and explode when you land on them, you'll be a short way away from Nitro Man.

Nitro Man will speed towards you a few times, then climb up the wall and shoot what looks like Metal Blades. These are the Wheel Cutter blades. If you keep a Chill Spike on the ground as he accelerates back and forth, you can hit him while you are jumping over him. He also stands around for a little bit after shooting out the Wheel Cutters, so you can get a free shot on him.

Beating Nitro Man will get you the Wheel Cutter, which is the Metal Blade-like weapon that Nitro Man was using. You can send one forward, but if you hold the attack button down, Mega Man will "carry" the blade and take out anything up close.

Strike Man

Welcome to the baseball stadium! Unfortunately, this isn't TaleSpin, so Baloo can't help you here. Neither can Kit Cloudkicker. Sorry.

The pitching robot throws out baseballs that travel in a sine wave pattern. The blue-hatted ones are worse than the red-hatted ones, as the blue-hatted ones throw out homing balls.

The blue square robots that come out of the background hide behind the lockers and shoot at you. They're pretty easy to deal with, though.

The mini-boss is a soccer goal. Destroy the soccer ball that bounces around, then jump onto the hands when they pound the ground. Shoot at the head with the Buster while on the hands. From there, the pattern repeats until the mini-boss dies. You can use the Triple Blade for this battle, but save your ammo for Strike Man.

The basket robots shoot out footballs and baseballs into the air, which will then bounce towards you. Another easy enemy.

The soccer balls launch into the air when shot at. Shoot one, then get on it to ride it. Some of them will have spikes, and you'll have to shoot several in succession in order to get past them all and continue on. You can also stand on this variety, provided that you don't land on the spikes when jumping on them.

The second version of the mini-boss has electric barriers in certain parts of the goal. The same strategies apply, but you'll have to change your movements up a bit and jump off the hands early to ensure you don't get zapped. If two fists show up, one will punch forward and send you into an electric barrier.

Strike Man will jump up and throw a ball that bounces around the room, then turn into a ball and bounce up before bouncing forward. When he is not in ball form, hit him with Triple Blade. This one isn't a terribly hard battle.

Beating Strike Man will net you the Rebound Striker, which bounces around the room much like Strike Man's version of the weapon. You can fire it forward, but you can also fire it up or down at an angle.
