PrinceWatercress plays Gex: Enter The Gecko - Part 25 of 25
It's time to go face-to-face with Rez!
Channel Z
Jump on the platform and ride it all the way to the top, then move into the green light. Grab the health pick-up and let the bug orbit around you for a fifth hit. You'll then meet Rez.
For the first phase, stay on the move. When Rez charges at you, you want him to charge into the electricity in the center. If he runs into the wall, he will be stunned. Use this opportunity to line Rez up with the energy field, then jump up and hit him so he is knocked into the electricity.
Rez will then start firing missiles at you. Long jump around the room to avoid all of the missiles.
After three hits, Rez is in the center, and he will grow exponentially in size. Jump over his arms when he swipes at you with them, and avoid the eye lasers with the long jump. When he starts smacking the floor, you'll want to trick Rez into hitting the column of green light, and pay attention to which hand he uses so you aren't caught off guard. When he hits the column of green light, a TV will fall on Rez. You'll have less and less time to get Rez to hit the column of green light with each successive hit you land on Rez. Three hits on the second form later, and Rez will be defeated. Enjoy your ending (in which Nikki from Pandemonium makes a cameo)!
Oh, and Kurt Harland (in the Sound and Music section of the credits) is also known as Kurt Valaquen, the lead singer of Information Society.

PrinceWatercress plays Gex: Enter The Gecko - Part 24 of 25
It's now time for the toughest stage in the game. Once we get everything here, all that's left is the battle with Rez.
The token tiers here are compact discs, radiation symbols, and movie cameras.
Mazed and Confused
Yes, you have to wait for the platform to lower before you can move.
0:57 - Let's go left to start. Watch out for the vents so you don't get pushed into the pincers, and climb on the blue lit-up wall to cross the static pool.
1:26 - Go across to where the pincers are, turn right at the static pool, and long jump to some more CD tokens. This path takes you to the first red remote, while dropping down takes you to the second one.
2:10 - If you continue down the path, you can activate a platform that takes you to the top of the maze. Use your first-person view to look around, figure out where you need to go, and find the clapper for the secret cutscene. If you see arches, you'll know you've found the clapper.
6:48 - This is where you want to drop down. Drop down and stick on the blue lights wall, then avoid the fans as you move to the other side.
8:02 - Drop down the green chasm to teleport to the other side. From here, you'll have to jump from one TV platform to another, then be patient with the spinning satellite dishes to jump to where you need to go. Do not use the pipe at the end; you will fall down and die.
15:07 - Make your way up the gas domes, get on the roof of the shed, then jump to the top of the next tower. From here, you'll have to jump off two more spinning satellite platforms to get the first red remote.
16:09 - Here's your cutscene!
17:45 - This time, we're dropping down for the second remote.
18:09 - The blue bridges push you in a specific direction, and quickly. Let them move you, and be ready to jump. You'll also have to deal with the spinning satellite platforms.
22:25 - Finally, the worst is over.
22:53 - Jump up and tail whip the teeth without getting burned. You'll free the brain, get the red remote and get out of here.
PrinceWatercress plays Gex: Enter The Gecko - Part 23 of 25
We're now in Rez's world...and it's one of the most dystopian areas in the game.
No Weddings And A Funeral
Token tiers for the Rez stages are gold gears, toolboxes and oil cans.
1:08 - These speaker platforms spin around to make it easier to get where you need to go. If they hit a wall, they bounce off and spin in the other direction. Also, the projectile firing enemy below - as well as the rest of them - leaves no tokens when defeated. The door at the other leads...
1:59 - ...here. Jump onto one platform and make sure it emits a blue light, then use the mirror to find the green light and figure out where to jump next. If you jump on the wrong one, you'll have to fight an enemy and start the whole pattern over.
2:22 - The platform with the two buttons goes up when you tail bounce on both buttons. Later on, these platforms will have three or four buttons, and you'll have to tail bounce on the buttons in a specific order to get the platform going. The hexagon-shaped platform simply moves around like a standard platform, and the fans blow you away when in motion. If you see white pixels moving quickly away from a fan, that's your cue to stop and wait.
3:19 - Near the extra life in this room is the final hidden remote.
4:13 - This is a sticky wall. Also, tail bounce on the "platform" droid to defeat it.
5:02 - Another one of these rooms, this time with four platforms to jump on.
5:42 - By hitting the cog here with the tail bounce, you can keep the loudspeaker platforms afloat on the pools of static. Same with the dial platforms on the level above.
6:20 - Now for some more side-scrolling action...if we can stay up there.
7:41 - Finally! A checkpoint! The platform that gyrates around has static rising up the edge that leans downwards. There is also a conveyor belt platform here.
8:39 - The purple pool is a pit. From here, you'll have to treat conveyor belt platforms to get to the vacuum tube platform and reach the speaker platforms. Watch out for the enemy that shoots at you, then climb up the conveyor belt on the wall after the fan stops. After that, you'll have a few more platforms to deal with.
11:45 - The Church of Rez. You'll get the last tokens you'll need for the final reward remote as well as the red remote for this stage.
Chips 'n Dips is now unlocked. It is across from Pain In The Asteroid, and it is the last bonus stage of the game.
Chips 'n Dips
You'll be collecting 50 batteries in three minutes. Charge up before continuing with the stage, and always look around as you go through this stage to ensure you're collecting as many batteries as you can, as there is a hard-to-find room in the area where you jump to the sticky wall.
At the end, you'll see a series of "Q-Bert" platforms that you'll have to charge up for before leaping your way to the top. From there, you'll be leaping to a few more platforms. After that, charge up one more time and jump forward, and you can make your way to the final gold remote of the game. Mazed and Confused will be unlocked from here, and it will be next to The Texas Chainsaw Manicure and Lava Dabba Doo.

adsf
2:31 -By taking this platform, you'll go up what looks like a super-long jellyfish to another area we haven't been to yet.
2:51 - Jump over the laser barriers to get to some more large platforms.
3:49 - Climbing up this tower takes you to a few moving platforms that help take you to a fire-breathing planetoid. Of course, I think I refilled on air when I didn't, so I end up dying and having to work my way back. On the other side, refill on air, then jump from platform to platform to reach the second red remote.
Now it's time for the power cells. Reposting the locations of the first four from the last video, then going back to this one:
2:25 - The first power cell is here. Climb up the sticky wall, then take the platform upwards and enter the portal.
4:08 - You'll find the second and third power cells here, as well as the hidden remote.
5:18 - By going back down and taking the elevator, we find a brand new path full of platforms. The fourth power cell will be here.
12:51 - The fifth power cell is here. Get on the platform to the side, then jump to the top and hit the power cell. With all five struck, you'll open a bridge leading to more platforms.
Guess what. It's more of THOSE platforms from where you found the first red remote. Use the same strategy for that series of platforms for this set.
With all this platforming, you'd think the level would have a checkpoint. It doesn't.
PrinceWatercress plays Gex: Enter The Gecko - Part 21 of 25
Ooh, boy, a space level. Take the time to stay in those oxygen chambers; you want to make sure you refill your air, which you don't have a lot of.
Pain In The Asteroids
1:18 - Hit the switch to explore more of the level.
8:00 - After all the platforms, you'll be able to hit a switch to larger platforms. If you hit the lightsaber aliens in the head, you'll kill them instantly. Hit the switches as you go to reconfigure the bridge platforms.
10:07 - This metal path is a sticky wall, and if you cross it, you'll end up in front of a bunch of platforms. It took a while here, but as long as you're patient with the platforms as they go up and down, you'll be able to take a platform to the first red remote.

PrinceWatercress plays Gex: Enter The Gecko - Part 20 of 25
Well, that red remote took us a while. Might as well go to another bonus level now that we can face Rez.
1:57 - Time to go through this gate. Your platforming skills will be put to the test.
3:52 - Let's try this again.
7:08 - No, seriously, let's try this again.
7:31 - After slinking by the alternating pendulum blades and beating up a ninja, we need to get into this cage. Remember to jump off, or else you'll fall through the gap and die.
8:41 - After following the path and climbing the golden wall panels, you'll have to deal with the small spinning platforms again. Get on the golden wall and climb to the next section.
9:13 - The small platforms here take you to a ramp, which leads...
9:32 - ...here. Get to the cage...
9:50- ...and jump off when it stops to get on the roof. From here, you can get the third red remote.
Channel Z is now unlocked, so we can fight Rez again at this point, if we wish.
Bugging Out
Instead, we're going for another bonus level. For this one, you'll have to tail bounce on the gear in the center of the room at least four times, then whip as many bugs that come out as you can and take their tokens. You'll need to collect 70 tokens in 3 minutes, and you'll have to unleash a ton of bugs and hit as many of them as possible to get more tokens in less time. Once you get the 70 tokens, just go to the center to get the gold remote.

PrinceWatercress plays Gex: Enter The Gecko - Part 19 of 25
After some crafty platforming in another bonus level, we head to another Kung Fu flick level for more remotes.
Lizard In A China Shop
You'll have to collect 31 cartons of Chinese take-out in 3 minutes. Use the yin-yang tiles to make big jumps for collectibles, and make sure you're at the very edge of a platform before jumping.
The spinning platforms will spin you around quickly, so be ready to run to where you need to go as soon as you jump onto them.
Now that we have yet another gold remote, it's time to head through the blue gates and tackle Samurai Night Fever.
Samurai Night Fever
6:10 - After taking care of some stuff near the start, it's time to cross this bridge in search of the first red remote. Avoid the red spiked bar that tips back and forth.
6:47 - Tail whip this panel for hidden tokens. Jump from the edge to the edge of the nearby moving platforms to tongue-grab them, then hit the gong to get on the block that rises up to reach the nearby extra life.
7:44 - A secret set of sticky wall tiles. This takes you to the hidden remote, then leap into the portal to go back.
8:13 - Climb this sticky wall and watch out for the spikes that stick out as you go. Long jump over the nearby wooden bridge to hit the gong and continue.
9:00 - Use the yin-yang tils to leap forward, then tail bounce the light-colored panel in the floor for hidden tokens, then jump your way to the spinning platform and the next gong. Take the sloped wooden platform to the elevator and hit another gong, and you'll end up on the upper level of the spinning platform. From here, you can get the first red remote. Before grabbing it, however, hit the gong to open a gate near the start.
Bugged Out is officially unlocked.
16:46 - Time to hit this gong and open the gate leading to the second red remote.
17:21 - After making our way across the bridge, it's time to tackle some platforms that move up and down. Make sure the one you're on is higher before jumping to the next one.
17:58 - These spinning platforms are necessary to continue on. You may have to jump to the other one in a pair to get to a certain platform.
18:38 - Now it's time for the swinging platforms following the pendulum blades. Use the long jump to get to the other side.
19:31 - Long jump over the bridge and past the pendulum blade, then be careful with the spinning platforms and the Sun Wukong head before long jumping past the double pendulum blade-golden spike trap combination. Defeat the warrior at the end and hit the gong to get the second red remote. Don't forget to hit the gong near this red remote to open another gate up and open up even more of the level for next time!
PrinceWatercress plays Gex: Enter The Gecko - Part 18 of 25
We go back to Lava Dabba Doo for that clapper, then head to another hard level for the clapper. Enjoy the secret cutscenes!
6:50 - Back in Lava Dabba Doo, there is a hard-to-notice sticky wall near the end. If you climb up it, you'll be able to reach a dark area behind a lava waterfall. Destroy the flame-spewing snake statue head, then pick up the clapper.
9:45 - When you complete the level as normal with the clapper collected, you'll get this short secret cutscene.
With that out of the way, we can play Texas Chainsaw Manicure.
Texas Chainsaw Manicure
10:46 - The entry room here has a lot of tokens as well as a lot of places to go. Use the floating furniture to get to places
12:28 - This area near the stairs can reached via a sticky wall. At the bottom is a clapper for another secret cutscene.
13:59 - Now it's time for another vertical section full of floating furniture. Use the floating furniture to get to the next area as well as some power-ups and collectibles.
15:54 - After another set of stairs, we now have axes that move across the walls. We need to get past them to hit a switch that removes some steel bars that block a path to a door in the previous stairway.
17:16 - It's time for some basic dodging and jumping to avoid all the axes and use the floating furniture as platforms.
18:05 - There's nothing to the right of the stairs just after the entrance to this stairway, so just go forward, avoid the moving axe and get to the next door with the floating furniture.
18:35 - Watch the spinning coffins here as you make it to the next door.
19:37 - Stand between the two axes after they separate, then move after they come back up. Hurry across the second table as it straightens itself out. As for the three tables that go in circles, jump to the left when they are lined up. You'll get the red remote here.
21:13 - Enjoy your secret cutscene.
The Media Dimension
Beyond the blue gate, there are a series of platforms that will take you to the rest of the levels in the game, including the final level and boss.
In the red gate area, there is a column with blue and white checkerboard tiles. If you jump onto and climb on those, you'll be able to find Lizard In A China Shop.

PrinceWatercress plays Gex: Enter The Gecko - Part 17 of 25
There's not a lot of memorable moments here, but at least we get another level done.
2:56 - The first of a few platforms pushed up and down by steam jets.
3:30 - After a few more steam platforms, you'll be able to find the level's hidden remote near the second red remote.
You now have enough silver remotes to unlock Lizard In A China Shop.
6:35 - This road leads to the first red remote. From here, the rest of the video is dedicated to getting the reward remote.
PrinceWatercress plays Gex: Enter The Gecko - Part 16 of 25
We may have opened the path to the final boss, but we still have work to do!
6:21 - By taking the right path and using the platform, we can get on the path to the third red remote.
6:58 - There's a climbable wall here. Use it, then climb up the ceiling, enter the pit and drop down to enter a portal.
7:52 - Get rid of the enemies here, then power-up and get on the two green platforms that are here.
9:05 - Once you get these two platforms moved, you can power-up again and get on some more platforms and get to the last red remote.
The lion head just opened its mouth. This leads to the final boss.
In the meantime, let's go to This Old Cave.
This Old Cave
11:43 - The cave lizards lose their tails when you hit them, but the tails will have a mind of their own and go after you. If you destroy them and the tail, they will both turn into collectible tokens. Tail bouncing is best.
12:16 - Get used to seeing these white walls that you can climb on; you'll be seeing them a lot here.
13:53 - You can see two of the red remotes here easily at the first checkpoint.
15:50 - So close, yet so far.

PrinceWatercress plays Gex: Enter The Gecko - Part 15 of 25
In this entry, we enter the computer world and start scoring some more remotes.
Honey I Shrunk The Gecko
The purple platforms at the start slowly sink down under your weight. If you're quick, this won't be much of an issue. They'll quickly return to their original position once you get off.
3:44 - The robot here will only activate if Gex is glowing green and powered-up. Also, some of the robots here will drop land mines. Make sure you're off to the side so you are not directly in its path when you attack.
5:38 - This path leads to the first red remote.
8:20 - We have a fork in the road here. By going left, we'll find a warp. Instead of going in, turn around and jump to the yellow sticky wall. There is a shaft you will want to climb into; doing so will give you the hidden silver remote.
10:09 - Now to enter the warp. If you power-up the green platform with the green glow, you can get some extra tokens.
11:40 - Now to bounce our way up and get a red remote.
18:22 - By long jumping towards the purple platforms, you'll find a way to another warp portal. Quickly go up the purple platforms to charge up, then power-up the data bus bridge to enter the portal. In the next room, you'll have to tail whip the spinning platforms so that you can them from one platform hub to another hub and get to the next portal.
21:12 - After taking tese platforms to another portal...
21:32 - ...we're at the I/O Tower. After moving the spinning platform a few more times, the second red remote is yours.

PrinceWatercress plays Gex: Enter The Gecko - Part 14 of 25
In this entry, we break some more blood coolers, go back to outer space, then take on yet another boss.
All that's left to do now is get all of the eight blood coolers. Here's all of the locations again, complete with time stamps from the previous video/blog entry:
6:40 - Climbing up this wall takes you to the first of eight blood coolers in this level.
7:24 - After avoiding axes in a nearby hallway, we can find the second blood cooler in this large room. Use long jumps to go from red light to red light.
8:04 - This door takes you to the third blood cooler. The nearby door takes you to the red remote for the blood cooler mission. Look around for a table that teleports in and out to explore more of the room.
9:33 - One of the doors near where you found the third cooler contains a small room with the fourth cooler.
11:29 - There's our fifth blood cooler.
11:51 - At the door across from where you found the fifth blood cooler, you'll find the sixth.
12:20 - Dropping down here takes you to the seventh blood cooler.
13:00 - Across from the chandeliers and the pumpkin enemy is this area. The hidden remote is below, but you'll have to do something to access it. Near the location of the hidden remote is the eighth and final blood cooler. The doors near the fire-spitting skull only lead to tokens. While you're down there, you can ride the flying furniture to get to other areas and travel over the bottomless pit. Along the way, you'll find two coffins; if you push them into the gaps they are in front of, you'll open two doors near the hidden remote. One of them contains a coffin; if you push that coffin, you'll be able to get the hidden remote. From the coffins, you can long jump to a climbable wall and take a shortcut to the morgue and blood cooler remotes.
Time for Trouble In Uranus, which is right after the red gates.
Trouble In Uranus
In this one, you have to collect 50 U.F.O.'s in 3 minutes. Carefully jump from platform collecting tokens as you go so you don't fall into the abyss below.
There will be three rock-like platforms: blue, red and yellow. The path at the blue platform leads to a portal that takes you to the rest of the area and the U.F.O. that holds the gold remote when you collect all the tokens. Watch your jumps, or you'll be starting this whole mess over.
Now that this is over with, it's time to take on Gexzilla vs. Mecharez. Also, Texas Chainsaw Manicure will be unlocked, and it will be next to Lava Dabba Doo.
Gexzilla vs. Mecharez
Mecharez's health will be on the left; yours will be on the right. You can only jump; you cannot tail bounce.
Avoid Mecharez as he charges at you. Hit him in the back to do damage if he stops or hits a building. If Mecharez jumps onto a building, destroy the building with your tail whip to do a little bit of damage and knock him down for a few seconds, and try not to get shocked in the process..
As you deal damage, Mecharez will get faster and faster, and he will able to travel further with his charge attack. By destroying tanks, you can get your health back.
Once you beat Mecharez, Gex will roar a Godzilla roar, and you'll open the blue gates.
PrinceWatercress plays Gex: Enter The Gecko - Part 13 of 25
In this episode, we run around in one of the more interesting bonus levels in the game before taking on the horror theme yet again.
I Got The Reruns
For this one, you'll have to find 99 televisions in 3 minutes. Take a good look around at the start so you don't miss any TVs. That way, you won't be sitting there scratching your head when you reach the end. To use the mine carts, jump on them; be careful jumping off. After the second mine cart, be careful around the lava pits so you don't accidentally drop in. You should have all 99 TVs when you reach the third mine cart. When you do, you'll be able to jump on and get the gold remote.
Also, forget what I say about the letters after the game completion percentage. It's more than likely just a random letter placed there to make fun of letter grades.
Anyway, it's back to the green gate area for another level. Let's check out Poltergex!
Poltergex
There are so many paths that you can take here, so watch where you're going.
6:24 - The TV with the blue background gives Gex ice powers. It works much like the fire powers, except you're able to freeze your enemies. If enemies are frozen, you can destroy them instantly and get their tokens.
9:43 - Across from the grandfather clock is the stairway leading to the morgue. Once you go in, watch the platforms so you can figure out the pattern and make your way to the first red remote.
And with that, Gezxilla vs. Mecharez is finally available.
17:55 - By climbing the sticky wall in the large room full of ghost lights, you can climb another sticky wall to a room full of coffins. The entrance to the morgue will be below.
18:07 - By pushing the coffins, you'll open up certain cells. Be sure to push the coffins in the space sall the way so you can open the bars.
19:38 - By pushing all the coffins in, you can enter this room. Use the floating furniture to fly to the top.
20:20 - Stick to the left wall on the way to the door (and get the 1-Up if you need it...
20:38 - ...then jump across some chandeliers to get...
20:56 - ...here. Climb up the stairs and fight off the Donkey Kong ghosts to get the "Ascend The Ghost Tower" red remote.
Trouble In Uranus is now unlocked.
All that's left now is to break the eight blood coolers, but I've shown off where they all are as well as where the remote is for them.

PrinceWatercress plays Gex: Enter The Gecko - Part 12 of 25
We head to outer space for a few more remotes in this entry.
The next stage we tackle is The Umpire Strikes Out.
The Umpire Strikes Out
The token tiers here are rocket ships, phaser guns and astronaut dolls.
1:01 - You will be standing in an air refill station as soon as you start the level. Watch your air meter at the far right side of the screen like a hawk, because if it runs out, you die. When you walk into one, make sure you're standing directly inside it so Gex will automatically shift into it and immediately get all his air back. If the light turns green when you enter, you've done it right. Also, try not to take damage; it will cost you air in addition to health.
1:17 - The bugs here give you tokens if tail whipped twice, as will some of the things that are littered around such as rockets and radio transponders. The box with the word "air" on it gives you an air bubble if tail whipped, and you'll need to move into the air bubble before it disappears to refill your air meter in case you can't get to an air refill station.
1:49 - This charred metal path leads to the rocket you'll have to ride for the first red remote.
2:09 - These platforms will slowly move around in a circle. If you leap into the trail of energy around them, you will take damage. Thankfully, there are some stationary platforms that lead you to the next area. As always, destroy antyhing you can for tokens.
2:40 - This manta ray enemy gives you not only tokens, but also an air bubble for refilling your air.
2:56 - This UFO acts as a platform not only to some dark colored-platforms, but also the hidden silver remote! The teleporter takes you back to the start.
5:10 - We have some more platforms...
6:10 - ...and they lead here. Jump onto the glowing gecko paw panel to ride the rocket. Be sure to get air first if you need to.
6:40 - After a Death Star trench sequence, grab the air here, then head into open space. The R2-D2 droids will try to somersault over you, but if you keep tail whipping as you chase it, you'll eventually beat it down.
7:46 - After you get to the last platform, head in the other direction. Avoid all the lasers as you make your way to the other end, and you'll be able to go down...
8:10 - ...here. If you stiay in the air refill station, the enemies - especially the aliens with the lightsabers - can't hit you. Defeat both the alien and the R2-D2 robot and you'll be able to get the red remote here a little more easily and safely.
With all the stuff we've picked up, I Got The Reruns is unlocked.
10:29 - It's time to go this way to the battle dome. Time your jumps on the rotating platforms carefully. If you drop down, remember that the alien's lightsaber can still hurt you after the alien's death until it too disappears and leaves a token.
12:25 - Aside from some tentacles that will grab at you from the holes in the ground - which can be easily tail whipped - there is a purple platform that will take you down to more stuff. The other platform here takes you to health. There will also be some red asteroids that will push you into the abyss below; avoid them.
13:23 - These platforms lead to something you can climb on. Watch out for the rings of energy; they can hurt you if they touch you.
14:13 - At the top, you'll be able to find some air and some new terrain.
14:35 - Here, you'll have to jump over energy barrier that quickly move towards you as you move along the path. When you reach the tower at the bottom, climb all the way down for air.
15:22 - At the top, you'll find an air refill station.
16:00 - After fighting off an alien, we'll find some more spinning platforms...and this time, they're spinning vertically. Jump when you can get on without sliding off, long jump to the other one, and get to the other side to find the checkpoint, which you'll definitely need. Drop down to the green asteroids, and you'll eventually find a platform that leads...
16:32 - ...here. Use the long jump to make it over all the "side-scrolling" platforms.
17:30 - At the top, get some air, then jump over all the moving barriers to get to another tower.
18:06 - At the top of the tower is more air, and some more spinning platforms. Wait for the platforms to stop spinning one by one so you can cross, then get more air before beating up the enemies for tokens (should you need them) before getting the other red remote.
PrinceWatercress plays Gex: Enter The Gecko - Part 11 of 25
We tackle another bonus area, then tackle a level with a prehistoric theme.
The Spy Who Loved Himself
You'll have to collect 35 briefcases in 3 minutes. Break the computers at the beginning, then go up the platforms carefully (you can't rotate the camera here).
Once you take the red platform up, go left first and get all the briefcases, then head right to the conveyor belts and make your way to the red platform.
At the next level, use your long jump to reach the metal walls. You can stick to them and alk across them to get all the briefcases, but watch out for the electrical barriers that travel around. At the end is a room with a pair of conveyor belt leading into an acid pit. You should get the last of the briefcases you need here. After that, there will be red piston platforms that go up and down. At the end is a switch. Tail whip it to to open a door.
Go through the open hallway, then go right and bounce off the couch. Hit the switch to get the light show going, then jump on the spinning platforms one by one to the gold remote. That remote is finally yours.
It's time to head back to the red gate courses and tackle Pangaea 92010.
Pangaea 90210
5:30 - "Tree." Hit the trees for token.
6:09 - Two new enemies: volcano lotus plants that spit fireballs into the air and red dragonflies that will dart at you if you're too close. Tail whip them both.
6:21 - These flowers act as trampolines. Hold the jump button for higher jumps, especially if you tail bounce.
7:09 - Wait for the two platforms to be close to each other before jumping across. When the pterodactyl circles you, jump straight up and tail whip it. If you drop down, you'll have Super Mario World-style Butter Bridge scale platforms.
8:13 - This red dinosaur will charge at you. Tail whip him when he gets close. There is also a firefly power-up nearby.
9:00 - Well, getting that first red remote didn't take long.
11:00 - If you go up a tier on the flower trampolines, move off of it with the Control Pad so you can get credit for the previous tier.
11:34 - Well, that was talented.
13:27 - After a flame jet coming out of a wall and some more scale platforms, you'll come across this Triceratops. Tail bounce on them when they turn red and charge at you to defeat it.
16:31 - One awkward death and return later, we come across the bouncy red boulders. If you drop off the edge from where they're at, you'll get the hidden remote.
17:21 - Remember those stationary platforms on the lava shortly after the beginning? Yeah, there's a shortcut up the mountain here, and you can get some climbable paths to more of the level and even more tokens.
18:58 - When the music changes, you know you're near the top. Watch out for boulders jumping out of the lava. The other red remote will be yours.

PrinceWatercress plays Gex: Enter The Gecko - Part 10 of 25
It's time to start going through some gates, and this time around, we tear through a level in one video.
The Media Dimension
We got quite a bit done last time, but before going through the red gate, we go through the green gate and find Gexzilla vs. Mecharez, which is another boss level we have yet to access. Behind that portal, however, are three new areas: Poltergex, Honey I Shrunk The Gecko and This Old Cave.
Now that this is settled, let's head back to the red gate area. One of the levels here is Fine Tooning. We'll be going there first.
Fine Tooning
Since this is another cartoon level, there will be plenty of familiar things here.
3:27 - I finally had it with the camera and I switched straight to Manual. Now I have total control. Also, the nearby switch that looks like the high striker at the funfair moves the block around when you tail whip it. Also, the shadows underneath the nearby tree are tokens. Jump for them.
4:15 - These dominoes don't hurt you, but they still push you back. Tail whip to get through them.
5:10 - When you go up this hill, boulders that look like white bowling balls will drop down. Be ready to avoid them as they drop from right to left.
5:37 - There is a pit that you can drop down into after this. You'll have to take out the scorpions to make getting around easier, and you'll have to move the blocks with the three high striker switches to get out. They will move back to their original position after a few seconds, so be quick about it.
6:20 - Now that we're using the platforms, we'll have to watch out for the blocks that expand and contract out of existence. As long as you keep running and jumping at the edge of the eternally spawning platforms, you'll be able to make it across. Be sure to hit the checkpoint.
7:01 - Be ready to long jump here so you can hit the high striker switch. This opens a path across the stream to the ship.
7:59 - Hit the high striker switches to access these tilting steel beam platforms. They will take you to an area high in the sky where you can get a shortcut back to the ship. Just hit the high striker switch and drop down the well. You'll come out through the other one that you saw earlier.
10:00 - The spinning blocks lead to these four blocks that move back and forth. At the top is a door, and this time, it's duck season to Tooned In's rabbit season. Once again, you're beating up hunters and taking tokens from them. Check trees and bushes, as always.
11:51 - You'll have to carefully cross this log that is rolling back and forth if you want to explore the rest of the area. I usually just tail bounce in the same direction as the log as it goes to the left.
13:47 - After going through a log tunnel, we finally get the first red remote ("Climb The Tree"). Be sure to press the Triangle button to zoom in and out if you need to.
19:13 - Remember the well from earlier? Time to use it. By coming out at the other end, the ship will no longer be encased in glass. By jumping onto the ship, you'll be whisked away to another area.
19:47 - Get on the platform above the deck of the ship, then leap onto the dock and hit the high striker switch. This opens up the castle.
19:59 - Go off to the left side and travel the perimeter of the castle. You'll find the hidden silver remote. The translucent wall takes you back into the castle.
20:32 - By using the fire power-up, you can light the fuse on the giant firecracker by holding Square and walking around. This causes fire to cover the ground you walk on, and if you walk in a circle, you can create a fire blast that can destroy enemies and give you even more collectibles. Use the Square button trick on the fuse, you can light the fuse, and the music will change to reflect this. Tail bounce onto the firecracker and you'll be sent to the other red remote.
The Spy Who Loved Himself is now unlocked.

PrinceWatercress plays Gex: Enter The Gecko - Part 9 of 25
In this entry, we face our second boss, then tackle a level with a prehistoric theme.
In Drag Net
For this stage, you'll have to find 50 police badges in three minutes.
Collect the badges on the ground first, then use the ramps that go up and down to explore the balconies for more badges. You'll have to swing down ropes in order to switch sides and also reach platforms that you wouldn't normally be able to reach. Use your camera to look around and find all the ropes. When you get all the badges, get to the subway to get the gold remote.
After this, I unlock Lava Dabba Doo after grabbing four gold remotes. But first...Mooshoo Pork.
Mooshoo Pork
Run around the room so that Mooshoo chases you. Hit the switch before he reaches you, and if you time it right, you'll zap Mooshoo. If Mooshoo hits the switch, jump to avoid the electric shocks that travel across the room.
After two hits, the grates at the side will disappear, so you'll have to jump at every gap instead of just the one. After one more hit, Mooshoo is (well-)done. You'll get a gold remote and you'll unlock the red gates where more levels await.
The Media Dimension
7:28 - By climbing up this wall, we can jump onto a platform and access three hidden levels, one of which is Lava Dabba Doo. We will need more gold remotes for the other two.
Lava Dabba Doo
The tokens for the Prehistoric channel stages are drumsticks, cow skulls, and tiny dinosaurs
8:24 - Avoid the lava - and the flame jets - and take down spides as you work on getting some tokens.
8:54 - Time to jump on some platforms...and the camera here is super-close.
9:35 - At the top, you'll enter a door way that leads to some boulders. Alternate between both sides of the gap to avoid being squashed by the boulders...
10:14 - ...and you'll end up here. Beat up the dancing egg for tokens, then get on the gray sticky wall to continue on. Watch out for lava dragons as you get on the wall and lava droplets as you continue on.
11:18 - I don't know what he's mad about, so keep whacking him with your tail for tokens and move on.
11:59 - Tail whip the rib cage bones to get past them. There will be a small gray sticky wall afterwards to the left; long jump to it and you'll find the rest of the level.
12:43 - Time to climb another gray sticky wall. If you jump at the "Drop Zone" picture, you'll land someplace safe. Drop when you're on the top of the arch's ceiling.
13:38 - That way, you'll end up here. This time, you'll have to ride on rafts to get to the other side. Break the ribcage bones if they get in your way, and look our for gray sticky walls you can stick to and walk on.
15:05 - Well, that was talented.
15:51 - Now you'll have to leap off the rafts before they go down the waterfall.
18:07 - Look towards the lava and wait for a raft here. You'll have to run all the way to the edge and leap to get to the next one.
18:44 - You'll need to tailbounce on these Super Mario Bros. 2 rafts at the outer edge to get further up this waterfall. It takes me a while to figure this out...and get back to the waterfall.
21:26 - Finally. Now we can get the red remote here.
PrinceWatercress plays Gex: Enter The Gecko - Part 8 of 25
In this entry, we spend more time in the computer world in order to get those remotes and finish up www.dotcom.com.
2:14 - Here is the path to the portal leading to the next section for the other red remote. You'll need the green light to activate the data bus bridges, which won't stay lit - and navigable - forever.
2:40 - Here, you'll have to jump gaps and use the purple spark to see where the platforms are without getting hurt. If you fall into the pit, you go back to the beginning.
3:41 - Finally! A checkpoint! When you activate a data bus bridge, the camera automatically moves so you can tell where you're supposed to cross. Watch out for the mouse-like droid near the end of this section and be ready to tail whip it.
4:52 - What to do if you drop down in this section, and how to use the platform. Tail whip the magnet holding the spinning elevator as the platform is moving at the angle you want it to move, and you'll get the best results.
6:52 - The green platforms must be powered by the green light, so you'll have to absorb it to use it. You'll have to be quick to get to the green light halfway through, so you can go up here for the other red remote.
The rest of the video is me getting collectible tokens throughout both red remote routes to get the reward remote.
