Before you head to Etheria, head to the maiden statues and take another pomegranate from the horn of plenty. Also, if you click on the River on Life, Valanice will dip her toe in. Clicking on it again will cause Valanice to try to swim in it in vain. YOU WILL DIE.
If you go back to where Lady Ceres was, she will no longer be there.
Head back to Etheria by playing the fife, then play the harp again and meet with the Fates. They will hand you a dreamcatcher, and they will tell you that it sometimes pleases their nephew to surround himself with the darkest terrors of night.
From here, it's time to head up the path and return to where we found the ambrosia. Take the dreamcatcher from the inventory and use it on the cave entrance. Valanice will approach the cave with the dreamcatcher and trap the nightmare. You can now go into the cave.
Here, you can talk to the dreamweaver. Click on him twice, and Valanice will ask for his help. He says he helps no one, for he is just the weaver of dreams. If you click on him a third time, he tells you to leave before he weave Valanice a nightmare that will turn her hair white. Use the dreamcatcher on the dreamweaver, however, and he will speak to you. He tells you that he should have had a second nightmare on standby, but nightmares are solitary creatures who will destroy each other on sight. When Valanice tells him about what has happened to Lady Mab, however, the dreamweaver changes his tune and gives you a Tapestry of Dreams that allows you to travel through the land of dreams while awake; however, Valanice will be vulnerable while she does. You can now leave. If you come back, another nightmare will come out and kill Valanice, so your business is done here.
If you click on the fabric the dreamweaver sits on, you will be zapped by some sort of energy, although it will not harm you in any way.
Now you must get the crystal with sunlight. There is only one place to get one: Malicia's house near the gate to Ooga Booga. Take the lower-left rainbow bridge back at the beginning to get there.
