For the first one, they had a Black man play the hero's evil doppleganger...because Japan. And yes, he had a mask covering his face, much like in Stage 4 of the game. Had no idea that was the case until seeing that specific commercial.
Also, in recent years, Nissin brought the U.F.O. Kamen Yakisoban back. Apparently, the original hero fell under hard times and eventually became a villain due to his depression and desperation. A new U.F.O. Kamen Yakisoban takes his place as "U.F.O. Kamen Yakisoboy," and the guy fighting alongside him? None other than Segata Sanshiro, the guy from the Japanese Sega Saturn commercials as well as the 1970s version of Kamen Rider.
