Lower-Left Map, Stage 1
For this stage, there's going to be a lot of platforms in mid-air that make up what seems to be like sort of maze. You'll have to dodge those floating spiked balls again, but if you can pull off some wrap-around jumps fairly well, you can find a few shortcuts to the end.
If you know where to go in the maze of wrap-around jups, you can get a few extra lives. This is especially true if you take the path underneath the exit and super-jump to the right.
Lower-Left Map, Stage 2
Auto-scrolling time! Stay to the right and keep swinging your club. Luckily, you can safely stand on the sloped ground.
There is one ruby to grab out here. Just watch out for the fire plumes.
Lower-Left Map, Stage 3
The cavemen are now using wooden cars and planes. The cars are nothing to worry about, but the planes will drop heavy steel balls (which I strangely call bombs) downward.
Another new enemy here is the mechanical pterodactyl, but it's just like the regular ones.
Lower-Left Map, Stage 4
You'll face the genius caveman as well as his Dragon Tank.
When the tank's mouth open, keep striking it. It will shoot nuts and bolts at you, but you can destroy those too. It won't be long until the Dinosaur Tank is destroyed. It just hovers, lands on the ground and leaps back into the air in an attempt to fly again.
Of course, if you stay at the top and strike the head when it gets near, you can keep striking it repeatedly so that the nuts and bolts never show up and the mechanical dinosaur will never be able to attack.
But you're not done yet. Head further to the right and you'll take on the nerd himself. Roll down the slop to the right and keep holding Down on the Control Pad. As long as you're rolling, you'll keep hitting him and he can't damage you. Even if you're in monkey form or if you choose not to, just keep a good distance away and choose not to jump when you strike him and you should be fine.
