PrinceWatercress plays The Wizard of Oz for Super Nintendo - Part 14 of 14

This is it. The Emerald City...

Emerald City

If you don't have all six tickets from each country, you'll have to get them all and go back here. If you have, then you have entry.

There is nothing but exploration here. Just watch out for the torches and don't jump into them.

Go all the way to the right, jump onto the platform above the second door and jump right to grab the key. Enter the third door to the right by standing in front of it and pressing Up. Jump right and get the key.

From there, head to the left, jump onto the bottom of the nearby column, and make your way to the left. Keep walking and jumping to the left, and you'll find another key. Jump to the left to grab it, and watch out for the torch on the way down. Enter the door you see.

Go all the way to the left, use Dorothy's winged slippers to float to the north. Get on the platform with the window and jump right to get a key. Keep going left with the winged slippers, get the key all the way to the left, then drop straight down and enter the door that you see.

At the three torches, enter the door to the left. Go right and jump for the key. Use all the directions you just read to get back to the three torches. Go through the door on the left, then enter the next door you see. From there, go all the way to the right and drop down to get the last key.

You'll be back at the three torches again. Enter the left door, enter the next door you see, then enter the next door.

You're now in the final chamber! Jump to the top of both sides of the podium where the Wizard is and grab the two keys, then jump up to the orb and press Up and the orb. You'll finally give the wizard the ruby slippers, and then the Wizard takes you back to Kansas (something he could not do in the film) as the slippers have run out of magic.

Once he's done talking, press Start, and you'll be back in Kansas. The game is over. You made it through...whatever this is. It's not terrible, but it could have been executed better in some spots and could have been less dull. At least it's not as bad as some other game they made not longer after...but I'll leave that game for later...
