We've finally finished all of the stages! We can take on Mr. X, but we still have a little extra business to take care of first...
Tomahawk Man (continued)
Tomahawk Man has two attacks: shooting feathers from his headdress and the tomahawk throw. The feathers go straight ahead while the tomahawks go into an upward arc shortly after he throws them. You do not want to be in the air when he throws these. He also jumps around, too.
When he's not attacking (or if he's in the air), use the Plant Barrier against him to do the most damage. You won't be able to shoot it, and it only disappears when it hits Tomahawk Man, so keep your health high so you can kill him off with it.
If you're in close when he does the feather tossing attack, you'll be able to jump clear over all three of them if you time it right. Otherwise, use your slide.
You might need some energy tanks for this one.
Beating Tomahawk Man will award you with the Silver Tomahawk (S.Tomahawk). If you beat the real Tomahawk Man, you'll get the B.
Yamato Man
The word "Yamato" is basically an embodiment of Japan itself. It was originally the name of a Japanese province which was the center of politics and culture, and has since been used for all sorts of things beyond that, from people to battleships.
The yellow robots that shoot out balls at the beginning are easy to take out. The balls bounce, but you can shoot them down too.
There is a cracked barrel to the right of the first ladder. Now that you have the Rush Power Adaptor, you can finally break it and take an alternate path.
The spearmen will twirl their spears before they throw them...and the spears still spin around like helicopter blades. You can only hit them when they're pulling out another spear, so you're going to be doing quite a bit of jumping before you can beat these guys.
You'll face a robot ninja riding a robot frog. The frog shoots lasers out of its mouth as the ninja himself throws bombs. Unfortunately, this guy's a sitting duck as the toad doesn't go anywhere. Jump over the lasers and avoid the bombs as you shoot the frog in the eyes. When you beat this mini-boss, you'll be able to get an Energy Tank.
You may have noticed two ladders in the middle of this stage - one leading up and one directly below it leading down. Since you now have the Rush Jet Adaptor, you can now take the top path.
The spring robot just leaps forward. When you destroy the body, the head leaps at you in a last-ditch effort, exploding when it lands.
The dragonflies (or what look like dragonflies) drop bombs near you. It's distance based, and it only looks like they're dropping it on you because you keep moving towards them when you shouldn't.
Remember the fork we took to get up here? Well, the top ladder leads to the real Yamato Man. The bottom does not.
Yamato Man has two attacks. One has him jumping into the air while twirling his spear around, shooting a three-way shot at your present location. The other one has him shooting his spearhead at you while on the ground. Even if you avoid it, you'll have to avoid him as he has to retrieve his spearhead the old-fashioned way after he shoots it, which leaves him open to attack as he runs to it. He'll alternate between these two attacks at random.
Unless you've gotten the Silver Tomahawk from Tomahawk Man (or energy tanks, for that matter), you're going to have a hard time.
Beating Yamato Man gives you the Yamato Spear (Y.Spear), which works much like the spearhead throw attack. The real Yamato Man gives you the E icon.
Centaur Man
There are two doors to the boss after that squid robot. Use the Jet Adaptor to enter the top door. You'll get the T from being Centaur Man.
