We finish off the Key Cavern and reveal how to enter the Color Dungeon!

Key Cavern
The Pegasus Boots can be used to kill the shuriken-tossing birds if you also have the sword equipped.
The boss here is a slime. He sends a few normal slimes after you, then the big one finally drops down from the ceiling. Beat him up until he looks like he's about to split in to, then run straight into the middle of him with the Pegasus Boots. From there, he'll split in two and you can take both of the slimes out easily. Just watch out when those slimes jump up and try to land on you on the way down.
When you beat the boss, you'll get the Sea Lily's Bell.
Koholint
After getting the bell, you'll be told to head to the waterfall. You'll also meet the Owl again on the way back, and he tells you to head to the Yarna Desert.
The cave on the path east of the village contains not only 50 Rupees that you can get now that you have the Pegasus Boots, but also a wall you can bust a hole in with a bomb and find a Heart Piece.
Go east of this screen and you'll find Tarin. Give him the stick and you'll be able to get the honeycomb off of the tree with his help.
Head back to the village and head to the building north of the shop. This is the Dream Shrine, and now that we have the Pegasus Boots, we can actually do something here.
Walk into the bed so you can go to sleep in it, then equip the Pegasus Boots and the sword. This is the only way to defeat the monsters in here, so just run into them.
You'll find a chest with 100 Rupees, but the real treasure is in the chest to the left of it. Opening that will reward you with the Ocarina!
When you head out of there and head back to Mamahl and Papahl's house, you'll find out that Papahl has gotten lost. We'll find him soon enough.
Go back to Marin and talk to her with the button you equipped the Ocarina on. She'll teach you the Ballad of the Wind Fish if you accompany her as she sings.
Head back to the library. It's near the southern exit from the village to Toronbo Shores. Use the Pegasus Boots to run into the bookcase and knock down the book sitting at the top. Read it, and you'll find out about a secret dungeon that is exclusive to the Game Boy Color version of the game.
Go back to the graveyard, and enter the southeast quadrant. Defeat all the ghosts, then push the fifth grave south, the fourth grave west, the first grave north and the second grave east. From there, push the third grave to the north and you'll find the entrance to the GBC-exclusive Color Dungeon.
Secret Seashells
14. Go to the phone booth near the Key Cavern and run into the tree next to it with the Pegasus Boots. You'll cause a Secret Seashell to pop out of the tree.
