KuuImpact plays Superman (NES) - Part 3 of 17

This is not meant to be a complete set of notes, nor does it show everything off. This did, however, get me in the right direction concerning this game. When I play through this myself (which I will eventually do), I'll show off a lot more.

In this entry, KuuImpact kicks some zombie butt, then we enter the second level of the game.

At the beginning of this video, KuuImpact is on the right track, which is on the way to Metropolis Park. More importantly, he's between McKeesport and the park and near the computer center, which is to the right. There is a green-and-blue zombie enemy that runs back and forth and goes super high, but Super Breath II immobilizes them and makes them easier to defeat.

Further to the right is what looks like flying pinecones. You can stay on the ground and punch them when they come your way, but you won't get anything from them.

Instead, go down the stairs. There will be invisible enemies around here, and you'll need to use X-Ray Vision in order to see them. Further down the stairs is some green-and-black zombie enemies.

Further to the right of the Computer Center is the Metro Tower, as well as some people who say random things such as being unable to understand English and asking if there is a green fence near the Computer Center.

Going to the right from Metro Tower leads to the Metropolis Park, where you can fight gangsters in pink suits. Keep going to the right and keep fighting the pink gangsters as you go. You'll eventually face the big green guys, whom you can jump over. You'll eventually be back in the city and you'll find the Wexel Company building and the Apollo Theater, spelled as "Appollo Theater" here. Go inside the Apollo Theater.

Use the Super Breath II on the green-and-black zombies and go down the stairs. Beating up the enemies here will give you more power for the Super Spin, so get it. Fight all the blue zombies downstairs to get more energy for the X-Ray Vision. Further down is the pink zombies, and all the way down are gangsters. Take out the gangsters and keep heading to the left and a woman will try to attack you. Hit her with the Heat Vision attack as well as punches will standing on some stairs, and you'll eventually take her down.

You'll get a headline from the "Daily Planets" announcing that Superman has defeated the "Zod Gang," even though we have not met Zod or his gang yet. Soon afterwards, you'll find out that stock market prices have fallen.

You'll be back at the Daily Planet. Lois Lane will tell you that you can learn about stocks at the Senneville stock market. The guy to the right of her will give you a subway pass if you talk to him, which can be used on all of the subways as a form of fast travel. The bald guy to the left will tell you to find out why stock prices have fallen so much.
