We've finally made it to Ganon's Lair!

Serigon Caves

Great music here, by the way.

You'll see two caves to the left. Go inside the one to the right, then climb up and take the Ice Crystal. Watch out for the Deadites...they fly pretty fast. Watch out for those Abominoms, too. Get your Lantern ready, because you're about to do some cave exploration.

The cave to the left contains a Water of Life if you need it. It won't disappear when you take it, so if you need a Water to carry and a Water to drink, feel free!

Go all the way to the left after you leave and destroy the Rock with the Power Glove. This will cost 10 Rupees to do, so if you want to save Rupees, use a bomb.

Inside the final cave is the Ice Queen. She'll tell you to head to Fortress Centrum, where the Treasure of Death is hidden. She wants you to bring it to her.

You can leave from here to go to Fortress Centrum, just southwest of Serigon Caves. You'll already have your cursor trained on it when you leave, so why not?

Fortress Centrum

Rocks will fall on you from the start. Use bombs on the Gohmas so they don't utterly destroy you as you're surrounded.

The Darknuts make their debut here. They'll go down in a few sword swipes, but they can block your strikes with their shield.

Use a bomb on the wall with the skull on top.

When you enter the fortress, use Bombs on the Wallmasters on the Walls. You want to hit them from afar so that you don't risk getting beaten up when you get close enough.

The Fire Stalfos will shoot fireballs at you, sometimes from kneeling positions. Take them out before you continue on, and take the Blue Rupees they may leave if you can.

When you make your way up the tower, there are two doors. Enter the left one first. You'll meet the Armos Knights, which will stab at you with their spears. Destroy the Octorok to get the key and open the door. You'll find a Water of Life. Just watch out for the Arpagos.

The door to the right leads to another miniature tower. Go in, and you'll find Princess Zelda. When you talk to her, however, she transforms into Goronu. Whack him with four firestones to get the Crystal of Reflection. Now get out of there.

Beating this level will give you access to Ganon's Lair in the middle of the map.
