HalfBlindGamer plays Link: The Faces of Evil - Part 14 of 15

"I spy with my eye someone who must die!"

Lupay (continued)

Climb to the top of the room to face Harlequin. If you need it, there's a Water of Life on the platform below him. Same strategies apply.

After you beat Harlequin, enter the opening in the middle. You'll finally face Lupay. Stand all the way to the left and let the Shield reflect Lupay's third eye beams back at her. (Yes, Lupay is a she.) You may get hit by some falling rocks that fall to your location at random as well as a few of Lupay's beams, but Lupay will be the first to fall. Beating Lupay will award you with the Crystal of Vision. Take it and exit the level.

Beating Lupay will open up Hermit's Flat. This is just south of Ganon's Lair.

Ganon's Lair

If you go to Ganon's Lair right away, you'll find out that all of the enemies are invisible. Do yourself a favor. Get out of there.

Hermit Flat

Make your way to the left, drop down and go to the right. You'll be nearing water when you head to the right, which means you're going to meet the last new enemy of the game: the Zoras. Yes, the fireball-spitting water creatures of the series makes its debut near the end of the game, popping up out of nowhere and spitting fireballs at you that you can easily block with your shield. You'd better block them, because one Zorah projectile will take off two whole hearts. That's not a good thing, even with the maximum of six hearts.

Jump over the water onto the small platforms, and you'll finally be able to enter Gwonam's house. Talk to Gwonam, and he'll give you the Lantern of Vision. It works just like the Magic Lantern, but you can now see the invisible Sancromies that fly around and attack you at the entrance to Ganon's Lair.
