angryponcho plays Spyro 3: Year of the Dragon - Part 19 of 41

Alright, I'm over it. Let's get back to the game.

Evening Lake

The fodder here are frogs.

Well, this level is interesting. There's a ton of portals to other levels that are underwater (never saw that before), as well as a whale. Get in front of the whale, and it will eat you. From there, go ahead and head to the Dragon Egg hidden inside. To leave the whale, just go back the way you came in. The whale will burp you out.

A light blue breakable wall leads to another Dragon Egg.

Moneybags will have another creature to unlock for the cost of 1000 gems, but it's pretty nice. It happens to be a yeti, too. It's Bentley, and...he speaks like a damn lawyer. What. At least he whacks Moneybags with his club.

Bentley's Outpost

The fodder here are rabbits.

Bentley has to check on his young sibling Bartholomew before he can do anything for Spyro.

Bentley is a great joy to control. While he can't jump very high, he can destroy everything with his club with the Circle button. Pressing Square has him spin his club around to deflect hits and projectiles. The deflect can also help you get around, in ways such as deflecting a snowball from Bartholomew into a gong to break a stalactite to continue the level. You'll be doing that a couple of time to not only get through the level but also cause some mayhem.

You can break the metal boxes, translucent walls, totem poles, and of course enemies with the club.

Use the deflect attack to knock the snowballs the seals throw at you back at them.

You can move steel boxes just by moving into them. You can only push them where the trails in the snow on the ground are located.

Skill Points

Bentley's Outpost

There is a box you have to push off a cliff. Do that, and you'll break the box and get a Skill Point for your efforts.
