HCBailly plays Final Fantasy - Part 21 of 38

We cover the tricks and treats of the Ice Cave and hopefully try not to die in the process. Amazingly, HCBailly makes this look easy.

If you ever see orange circles on the floor, they act as holes. There is a room with multiple orange circles, so be careful. These holes will take you to other rooms with chests, which can be a real lifesaver.

Speaking of chests, the Cloth is basically the most useless thing you can possibly find anywhere. It's like the game is saying "Screw you, here's something you won't be able to use or sell for a lot of money just for making it here. Ta-ta for now, scumbag!" What's really fun is that the chest that contains it is guarded by anywhere from one to four Mages. Thanks, game. You're the best.

The FrGiants are just like the F.Giants, they're just ice elemental enemies, that's all.

Anyway, the Flame Sword is a great weapon for the Fighter, so give it to him if you have one in your party.

The grey stuff that looks like a palette swap of lava acts exactly like lava, so tread carefully.

FFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUU

The Ice Armor chest is guarded by a Frost D (Frost Dragon). Their Blizzard attack can be pretty nasty (150+ HP damage or more) unless you can cast AIce before it attacks. The Ice Armor is pretty useful for the Fighter, if you have one.

The room to the south of where you found the Ice Armor has a lot of gold, so check it out and open all six chests. Be careful when you move towards the right-most chests, as you'll meet up with some FrWolfs.

The room just close to the exit has a hole that takes you to an otherwise unattainable treasure that's very useful...but that will have to wait until next time!
