Titan's Tunnel

If you were expecting Titan's Tunnel to be another dungeon, you're in for a treat...we have treasure here! You've got a Great Axe, a Silver Helmet, and over 1000 G.
Anyway, the stairs that the Titan was guarding take you to the other end of the tunnel. From here, you can go to the Cave of Sarda.
Cave of Sarda

When you find Sarda the Sage, he'll give you a rod. Use this on the plate behind the Vampire's room, and you will find out what is causing the earth's rot.
Earth Cave

Walk up to the plate and select the Rod on the Item screen with the A button. The plate will shatter, revealing stairs to another basement floor.
When you're in there, open all eight chests. You'll find a Silver Shield and a Tent, but you'll also find a lot of gold. Trust me, you're going to need it all, because you can never have enough money in any RPG.
The Giants are more powerful versions of the Ogre, and the WrWolf has the ability to Poison your party members. The GrImps are just more powerful versions of the Imps, and they still don't have any special skills that set them apart.
In the treasure room to the north of the stairway, the upper-right chest is protected from the bottom by a WzOgre, a GrOgre and Hyenas. The WzOgre can cast Ruse, which increases his evade. Take him out as soon as possible.
