In this episode, we take on the Fire Fiend and restore the Fire Orb's power! Two down, two to go!

Gurgu Volcano

Boss time!
Boss: Kary
You definitely want to cast Afir on the first round, as well as Fast on everybody.
From there, have your best offensive fighters strike the boss, and let your healers heal. Kary can still be able to deal some damage, but with Afir it's not going to be as bad.
When you beat Kary, stand on the altar to restore the light for the Orb of Fire, then step on the teleporter plate above it to leave the volcano.
Crescent Lake

Believe it or not, the Circle of Sages don't tell you where to go next. However, there is a guy standing behind the weapons shop, who tells you to go north to the Ice Cave.
The Ice Cave is north of the volcano, and to get there you'll have to go through the canoe maze once again.
The game doesn't tell you this, but the mouth of a canal can serve as a port. When you step into the canoe maze, you'll instantly get off the boat, leave it behind the same way you would at a port and switch to the canoe.

This area is nuts, and it's also where it starts to get really hard. You are more likely to run into large groups of tough undead monsters - including the Wraiths, which make their appearance here. Use Fir2, Harm and Hrm2 to wipe these suckers out. Fir2 works wonders on the Wraiths.
Four enemies here have either Stone or instant death spells. The mage casts Rub as its first spell, and the Sorcerers (a palette swap of the Wizard) insta-kill with their physical attacks. Run away from the Mages and Sorcerers whenever possible.
Coctrices make a return appearance here, as well. You should be a little stronger, but that doesn't make fighting them easier, as they can still Stone your entire party.
Save you White Mage's LV5 charges for the Life spell in case someone gets wiped out.
The FrWolf and Frost D can cast devastating ice spells on your entire party - cast AIce on the first round if you see these guys.
