PrinceWatercress plays Saturn Bomberman - Part 2 of 12

We get the first crystal, then head to ancient Japan for the second one. This is the point where the game's soundtrack starts to shine.

Stage 1-5

The barrels here are the soft blocks, the crates are indestructible.

The green crocodile pirates take two hits to kill and will get angry and move towards you if you get too close. The shark pirates perform a spin slash, but it only hurts if you're right next to the enemy.

You can set off the cannons with your explosions, and if you hit the pink octopus with the cannonballs, you can get extra points.

The yellow vest will give you temporary invincibility. As long as you're flashing, you can't take damage, even from your own bombs. The flashing will slow down before stopping entirely.

The icon of Bomberman's foot kicking a bomb gives you the ability to kick your bombs just by walking into it if you're just playing as Bomberman. To stop a kicked bomb, press L or R.

Stage 1-6

This stage looks just like 1-4, only bigger. There are no new enemies here.

The clock will not only freeze the timer, but it will also freeze all the enemies in the stage.

Boss Stage: Castle Joe

The boss here is a giant robot shaped like the top of a castle known as Castle Joe. Keep your distance and lay multiple bombs. Also, don't let the boss corner you. That last part is easier said than done, as the boss will tend to follow you if he sees you.

If the castle shoots balloons, stay away from them. When the Princess comes out of the castle, she will throw fire on the ground. Stay away form the ground until it disappears, and don't lay bombs until she stops throwing fire.

When you beat the boss, you'll get a teardrop-shaped crystal, then Dr. I will tell you that the three remaining crystals have been hidden in the past and that the next crystal is in the Samurai World.

Samurai World

Stage 2-1

The music here is very good.

The sings are the soft blocks here.

The spiked plant wiggles around if hit with an explosion, and if you move into it as it wiggles, it will throw you to the side.

The pink worms will slowly move around, as do the birds. The pink worms just move around, but if the birds see your bombs, they will try to run away from it. The worst enemy is the butterfly, as the butterfly will fly through the soft blocks.

Stage 2-2

In case you die, you'll keep all your extra bombs and explosion extensions, but you will lose the kick power-up, the power glove and any other abilities that require picking up an icon to you.

The preying mantis enemy will tend to avoid your bombs if they see them.

The bomb with the lines of motion going through it allows you to walk through your bombs, and replaces the kick power-up as you cannot have both at the same time. (It's not an ability of the blue dino/Terra like I thought; I just forgot I picked it up.)

Stage 2-3

Watch out when travelling through this stage; you won't be able to see through the leaves very well.
