PrinceWatercress plays Mega Man 5 - Part 7 of 8

Time to take down Dr. Wily once again...

Dr. Wily's Castle 1

The beginning of this stage has an easy-to-obtain energy tank. Go get it.

You'll immediately climb down to a long drop with spiked walls. Thankfully, this part is easy. Just stay in the center, then walk left off the edge of the platform in the center and make your way right from there.

You'll then have a spiked ceiling as well as conveyor belts that are close enough to the ceiling to cause an accidental spike death or two.

The conveyor belt platform section after it can be skipped over with Rush Jet.

You'll then have crushing ceilings afterwards. Man, Dr. Wily really wants you dead. Make sure to keep sliding when you reach the end of this area, or you won't make it.

The boss is some light blue column robot with spikes on the sides. This guy will shoot miniature versions of his own head that will come down on you. To defeat him, shoot at the spiked sections of the columns so you can use them as platforms. From there, you can charge up the Mega Buster and shoot the boss in the head.

Dr. Wily's Castle 2

This stage will have you moving around underwater, and with that comes some underwater physics. You'll find an Energy Tank in plain sight after dropping into the water that's really easy to obtain just by jumping with the underwater physics...so why not?

Some of the wheels that act as platforms spin and act as conveyor belts. Also, you're going to be dealing with spikes as well as those spiked balls moving over the wheels. Be prepared to take short hops and micromanage your jumps as necessary.

Most of the enemies that you're going to see here are Mettaurs. Aside from the scuba Mettaurs, you'll also see the Mettaurs that split into three from the Stone Man stage when you get out of the water.

Take out the two green jumping robots near the end with Power Stone. Just stay on the ladders and plug away.

The boss is a giant face that moves across the screen. Stay on the move to avoid the orange balls that rain from the sky and equip Gyro Attack, and be sure to use an Energy Tank to heal when necessary. When the sides of the face open up, send a Gyro Attack through one of the openings and hit the boss's center.
