Since when did Luke actually go into the Sandcrawler? LOL @ movie-to-game transitions.
The second level is a journey to the top of the Jawa Sandcrawler. The debris from when you destroy any enemies made out of metal can hurt you, so be careful.
You'll have to time your jumps from one platform to the next, and if you mess up, it's a long way down. There are flamethrowers and laser turrets throughout the side of the Sandcrawler, which I don't think was ever that well-armed. When you make it to the top, you still have to deal with the turrets, which can do hellacious damage with their weapons. Get the hidden health-power up at the left edge if you need it, then make your way to the right and (actually) jump into the hole that the arrow points towards. Congrats, you're actually inside the Sandcrawler.
The path is straightforward from here. You'll have to slide at the correct time to get past the laser barriers so that they don't go off (there's a certain distance you have to stand away from it), and if you touch the lava you will die. You then fight the Lava Beast Jawenko. You'll have to constantly jump around and reposition yourself to keep from falling into the lava, and you'll still have to do that afterward when you jump your way to R2-D2 if you don't want your progress disrupted.
