lukenuetzmann plays Super Star Wars - Part 5 of 8

I don't remember Jabba the Hutt having this many hired hands...!

The next stage has more than one boss, and you'll need all the health that you can. Stay on the high road during the stage, and don't let the flying enemies get to you. Thankfully, those things can be destroyed with one hit if you have a strong enough gun. Be careful about the guys who pop out of the windows to shoot at you, too.

The first boss is the maintenance droid, and it has three health bars. If you have the Plasma gun, he's easy pickings. If you're low on life, it drops two large health pick-ups that you'll desperately need.

When you enter the hangar, keep on rolling/sliding/whatever. That will help you avoid many of the enemies and keep you from losing a lot of health. There's a trap after the fourth and last downward slope, so be ready to jump when you reach the bottom to avoid an electrical trap.

There are laser turrets that can easily be shot down, as well as small droids that you should run away from when you blow their upper bodies off. There are also flashing squares that act as proximity mines that explode upon your touch and cause damage. The trick to dealing with these is to shoot them, causing them to explode from far away, helping you to dodge the resulting debris as well. The globes that shoot out the electrical beams from both the ground and ceiling are indestructible, as far as I know.

The second boss is the Hover Combat Carrier. Roll under it and stay under it, then shoot the underside down first. Center yourself so you don't get hit by the rocket boosters, which you'll also want to shoot down. Then shoot upwards and take out the upper turrets. Once all five parts are shot down, the Hover Combat Carrier can be shot down very easily. They won't even be able to damage you unless you jump into the air, which just makes it even more hilarious.
