You'll be in the Landspeeder again afterward. Once again, you have to shoot down a bunch of Jawas before you can go to Mos Eisley.
Once you're there, be ready to keep on running and blast the crap out of any Imperial Stormtrooper that you see. If you can find a barrel and stand on it, you can take a ride over some spikes. You'll also find Shields off of some enemies, sometimes with alarming regularity. Always pick them up if you're in this level...you'll need all the health you can get!
Be sure to shoot the blocks and crates to find blaster power-ups, health pick-ups and thermal detonators to wipe out any Stormtroopers on the screen. When you see Chewie, the stage is over, and you'll end up in the Catina with Chewie in tow for the rest of the game. Chewie has a longer life bar than Luke, so use him for the Cantina if you can't get past him with Luke. If you pick up enough Health Swords with him, his health bar can span across half the screen!
There are two colors of guys in robes that pop out from the background at you - the blue ones and the red ones. They'll both carry power-ups on them, but the red ones carry the good power-ups, mainly the large health pick-ups.
When you fight the Kalmar Boss Monster, if you have the Plasma power-up for the gun, hold the fire button down and don't let go of it! He'll fall before you do if you have a high amount of health. (Now you know why I told you to pick Chewie!)
Now that you've gotten past the Cantina, you can play as Han Solo anytime for the remainder of the game! He's basically the same as Luke, except he has no lightsaber and he starts out with Flame instead of Blaster. He's also noticeably faster than Chewie, and his slide is a roll! Yay!
