PrinceWatercress plays Ratchet and Clank: Going Commando - Part 34 of 54

In this entry, we head to Snivelak to rescue Angela, but we find out that the Protopet is a lot larger than we realized.

First | Previous | Next | End

2:41 - If you can destroy fourteen ships that are flying around in Snivelak, you can get a Skill Point. I do this near the start and fall into the lava when shooting the ships ends up being harder than usual to reset the ships if need be.

6:07 - A Nanotech Boost is on the roof just after the first set of Swingshot targets. Be ready to bust out the Swingshot, as you'll definitely need it on Snivelak.

7:46 - The Dynamo targets activate these platforms you can stand on with the Magneboots.

8:46 - These planes give a good amount of experience for each one you shoot down.

9:57 - These pads allow you to jump great distances from one place to another.

11:06 - You can jump to the side here and follow the path for a Platinum Bolt. Be ready to use the Dynamo in mid-air to flip some platforms.

12:23 - The Vaporizer can make short work of these tanks. Use the Heavy Bouncer to finish off the soldiers.

14:16 - At this laser, stay back and let the Heavy Bouncer and HK22 do the work.

16:06 - Good thing we got all that experience for the health increase.

17:16 - A barrier! Once again, the Heavy Bouncer gets the job done. You'll then have some planes afterwards; use the Megaturret Glove to tear them apart.

20:04 - We face the leader of Thugs-4-Less. He has a giant robot. We don't. We'll have to jump from building to building and use the turrets to not only damage the robots, but also destroy the orbs that he constantly sends at you before they blow up on you like flying mines. You'll want to destroy all the orbs while destroying him or else you're taking damage. As mentioned in the video: "If you're seeing your health meter during all of this, you're doing it wrong."

After doing a certain amount of damage, the giant Thugs-4-Less robot will come at you and destroy the turret, and you'll have to look for another one. If the immediate area doesn't have turrets, you'll have to go back down to ground level and look for a jumping pad that takes you to the top of another building where you can find some fresh turrets.

If the giant Thugs-4-Less produces an orange laser while standing in front of you, that's another cue for you to press Triangle to get off the current turret and find another one. If the robot floats in the air, it is going to throw a ship at your turret to destroy it or fry the turret with missiles. You'll want to run away from the turret when that happens, too.

31:28 - After defeating the giant robot, you'll be able to rescue Angela, who gives you a message from the Thugs-4-Less leader mentioning an enormous supply of Protopets from Megacorp's distribution center which contains enough Protopets for the entire Bogon Galaxy. Angela then mentions that there is no time to get to Mr. Fizzwidget and that they must disrupt the distribution of the Protopets, and that she used to work in Megacorp's genetics division, where she was trying to fix the Protopet's flaws before Fizzwidget pushed up the release date. While Angela heads back to her home planet to get her Megacorp ID, you'll need to head to the distribution center. You'll get the coordinates to planet Smolg.

PrinceWatercress plays Ratchet and Clank: Going Commando - Part 33 of 54

In today's episode, we head for Gorn to take the fight to Thugs-4-Less, then head back to Joba and see if we can conquer The Impossible Challenge.

First | Previous | Next | End

1:52 - As soon as they arrive on Gorn, Ratchet and Clank are under attack from the Thugs-4-Less fleet.

2:38 - In the first challenge on Gorn, you'll be shooting down the Thugs-4-Less fleet. There are two big ships, and you'll need to aim at the biggest part of the ships in order to take them down.

4:01 - After the battle, you'll find out that Angela is not here and you'll get a message from the leader of Thugs-4-Less. The monitor behind him shows his exact location, and Clank makes note of this. You now have coordinates for planet Snivelak.

9:22 - We head back to the battle arena on Joba and go for The Impossible Challenge. This is 60 straight rounds of enemy fighting, and there are a few rounds where you will be fighting on the walls above the arena, with the lava rocks not showing up until just past halfway, at round 36. Once that happens, stay on the move, get enemies to stand directly across from you, and let the lava rocks do the work instead of your guns.

Use the wrench on the creatures that charge towards you and hit them with the jump strike for double damage, and use the ammo crates whenever you see them to keep your ammo high. Watching your ammunition and knowing when to use your guns definitely helps, and fighting the enemies from a distance in a way that mitigates any potential damage also works wonders.

While it makes sense to come in here with maximum health, you don't necessarily need to do so, as having enough experience to gain another hit point and getting the health replenishment and the full-screen enemy wipeout that come with it can be a very big help.

You'll face the Megapede at the 60th and final round. You'll want to have a high amount of health and plenty of heavy weaponry when you finally take it on. I don't win this time, but I come dreadfully close, and the bolts and experience that come from playing this challenge are a big help.

PrinceWatercress plays Ratchet and Clank: Going Commando - Part 32 of 54

Now that we're free, it's time to head back to Joba and complete some challenges for some more bolts.

First | Previous | Next | End

4:38 - We can now buy the Zodiac, which is a rather powerful weapon. We can also buy the Shield Charger, which acts as a temporary personal shield.

5:29 - The Damage Avoidance Challenge. As it says on the tin, you can't get hit, or the challenge is over.

During this challenge, the Synthenoids turn into the Killenoids, which last longer and do more damage.

9:45 - The Hazard Cage Challenge. Once again, let the lava rocks do some of the work for you as you fight enemies on the walls.

During this challenge, the Bouncer becomes the Heavy Bouncer, which shoots out even bigger projectiles that cause even bigger, more devastating explosions.

11:27 - The timed challenge is back, and now that we've gotten some things evolved, we can do a lot more damage in less time. We just need to be efficient if we want to destroy 90 enemies in 90 seconds.

15:42 - The Megapede Challenge. Bust out the Megaturret Glove, Killenoids and HK22 for this one, and let the Megaturret Glove shot do some of the work while you avoid the orbs that track you and fire off shots with the HK22. As you whittle the Megapede down, it will get smaller and smaller, and you'll eventually defeat it.

18:03 - The Limited Weapon Challenge. This time around, you can only use the wrench. Remember that jumping and striking with the wrench does double damage, and that single strikes that are not part of a combo work best against the spiders and the spheres of doom.

20:35 - This time around, we're defeating the Megapede again, this time in three minutes or less. Our tactics from last time will tear this thing apart in less than two minutes.

PrinceWatercress plays Ratchet and Clank: Going Commando - Part 31 of 54

Time to bust out of prison...

First | Previous | Next | End

1:22 - The Hammer Bot. We'll need this guy to smash the containers with the electrical charges in order to spring Ratchet out.

2:19 - Have the Hammer Bot use the hammer on the see-saw to get in the vent.

3:01 - We have some Microbots to fight some enemies with in order to get the Hammer Bot back with us and open up the next section.

4:15 - Get to the elevator and get the Microbots to sic on the larger robots, as the larger enemies will definitely hit you.

5:41 - Hitting the switch to cause a power failure throughout part of the ship, which will free Ratchet and switch control over to him. From here, get to the weapons vendor and refill on weapons, then get rid of everyone who shoots at you.

7:27 - Playing with gravity, causing the enemies to fall sideways into the lava and die.

8:55 - You'll need to jump across these platforms to continue and switch back to Clank.

11:13 - Build another bridge and hover jump off the edge to reach the next area. It won't be long until you're Ratchet again.

13:28 - A new wrench, and more platforms.

14:04 - The Synthenoids are really useful against all the enemies here.

14:26 - Good thing we had a Synthenoid army with us here.

16:20 - More platforming.  We have two wall jumps before Ratchet and Clank reunite, but we're not done yet.

18:03 - Gliding down near your ship leads to the area's lone Platinum Bolt.

18:41 - This Levitator section leads to the plumber from the first game, who finds a Qwark action figure. For 20,000 bolts, you can buy it off of him and bring it to that guy on Todana.

22:17 - Another Infiltrator area. The solution is left, up-left, left, down-right, down-left, down, down-right, down, down, down-right and then up.

22:27 - We have some more Levitator segments here. Watch the white lasers while passing through.

23:58 - We intercept a message from Angela Cross, who warns us that that Thugs-4-Less has returned from a Megacorp distribution center before getting caught. We now have coordinates for Planet Gorn as well as access to our ship again as soon as we hit the nearby switch.

PrinceWatercress plays Ratchet and Clank: Going Commando - Part 30 of 54

In this entry, we head to Boldan to look for Mr. Fizzwidget, but Thugs-4-Less are lying in wait for us...

First | Previous | Next | End

1:24 - As soon as we head to Boldan, we find out that Megacorp is the higher bidder, and that they have been hired to protect Mr. Fizzwidget due to recent safety concerns regarding the man. Also, not surprisingly, they're coming after us.

2:51 - New weapon! The Hoverbomb Gun allows you to fire a single floating bomb with the Circle button, and if you press Circle again, it explodes and takes out anyone dumb enough to be near the explosion. As cool as it is, just wait until it's evolved.

3:57 - Fun with the Levitator. This will allow us to open up a shortcut leading back to our ship, but we're going up the stairs once we do that.

4:59 - The floor panels are protective against the enemies. The Bouncer is a pretty good weapon to use here. Also, the little red chomper robots split into two smaller clones when you do enough damage to them, and you'll have to get rid of the clones as well.

7:09 - Use the Spiderbot to hit the switch and get this Platinum Bolt.

9:12 - Don't forget to take the Nanotech Boost at the top of the fountain on the way there!

13:22 - Keep jumping and shooting on this elevator with the Bouncer in order to make getting rid of the enemies ahead easier. Afterward, use the cover to get to the next elevator.

17:12 - Two vendors! Here, you can buy the Duraplate Armor, which shields all the damage you take by 50%.

18:13 - You'll now be walking on the sides of buildings with the Gravity Boots while platforms open up revealing more enemies. The Synthenoids will be your friends here, especially when you get to the door leading to that trippy spiral floor you'll have to cross carefully.

19:35 - The Megaturret Glove will take care of the ground targets.

21:41 - Two for one with the Vaporizer!

25:46 - At the end is an obvious robot Fizzwidget...and Thugs-4-Less, who use this to charge us fake charges of trying to assassinate the real Mr. Fizzwidget in order to send us to their own flying prison on Aranos.

27:31 - The female robot from earlier is back to help us escape. How she managed to get on the ship, one can only guess.

PrinceWatercress plays Ratchet and Clank: Going Commando - Part 29 of 54

This one ends up being shorter - and looking a lot easier - following minutes of recording and a bunch of videos. If you're going to do these challenges, prepare to be shot down...a lot.

First | Previous | Next | End

In this video, we head back to Barlow and complete the last two Hoverbike races.

Challenge 4 is the Assault Circuit. Unlike the first three Challenges, the enemies can actually attack you with the same weapons you've used against them, and it can really put a damper on your progress through the races unless you're in the top three. Prepare to be shot at a lot if you're going to complete these races in addition to placing first in both of them. Much like in Challenge 3, which Challenge 4 is very similar to, get the lead early, use all the boosts, and make sure you have the homing missile, which is the red weapon, so in case anybody gets in your way, you can get them out of it.

Challenge 5 is the Expert Circuit. It's much like Challenge 4, and you'll want to play this like you did that challenge. Just keep in mind that the enemies will be even more cutthroat.

PrinceWatercress plays Ratchet and Clank: Going Commando - Part 28 of 54

Now that we know more about the Protopet, let's continue to explore Todano!

First | Previous | Next | End

5:38 - Getting some weapon experience. To my amazement, quite a few enemies are gone.

7:58 - Entering the other area we have yet to go to. You can smash the security cameras for more bolts.

8:29 - Move the pillars into the barriers with the Tractor Beam to get past the barriers.

9:34 - The Inspectorbot is back! He's back for more puzzle fun after having seen him the first time in Maktar Nebula.

11:16 - This pillar has a bomb in it. Place it on the panel, then get away when the lights turn red so you don't get hit by the explosion.

14:01 - Going up to these conveyor belts and deploying a Spiderbot will allow us to get a Platinum Bolt.

15:23 - Almost forgot this! Back at the double energy field, you can make a staircase to get to another area where enemies with jetpacks will try to fight you.

16:37 - At the end, you'll meet a Captain Quark fanboy who is wanting a Captain Qwark figurine from the first game's galaxy. If you can get it to him, you can get the Armor Magnetizer which attracts bolts from further away.

17:44 - Next to him is another Platinum Bolt, and the last one we need to find for this planet.

19:03 - Now to solve this puzzle.

19:44 - Put the small bomb in the small platform and the big bomb in the big platform.

20:42 - Put the column on the conveyor belt for a moving safe spot away from the lasers.

21:35 - Same bomb puzzle as before, but now we have three different sizes for the bombs. Move the smaller ones to the side so you can move the big one.

23:16 - This time, you can ride the column across!

27:32 - At the end of this area is the Sheepinator, which works much like the Morpho Ray from the first game. The only difference is that enemies turn into sheep and not chickens.

29:38 - After saving and reloading, we go for another Skill Point that can be obtained by turning all the squirrels into sheep. For some reason, a few of the squirrels found the elevator. Afterwards, I grab more bolts to close the video out.

Skill Points:

Try To Sleep: Turn all sixteen sheep in the beginning section of Todano into sheep with the Sheepinator.

PrinceWatercress plays Ratchet and Clank: Going Commando - Part 27 of 54

In this entry, we continue the story by heading to Todano...and what we learn is shocking.

First | Previous | Next | End

2:11 - New weapons! The bouncer shoots out a bouncing ball that, upon contact with an enemy, explodes into a bunch of smaller balls that bounce on the ground and explode on contact with the enemy. The explosions can do quite a bit of damage, but wait until this bad boy gets evolved. Also, the Hoverbomb shoots floating orbs that can do quite a bit of damage when they explode.

3:00 - As the robots take a tour, there will be rabid squirrels ready to pounce on you - and the tourist robots - and rockets to destroy. If you destroy the four rockets at the starting area, you'll get a Skill Point for it.

5:22 - At the end of the tour, wait for the robot Fizzwidget to head towards the wall for a Platinum Bolt. The tour also loops back to its beginning, so if you want to listen to robot Fizzwidget again, you can.

8:52 - If all of the robot tourist make it through the tour without even one of them getting destroyed, you'll get a Skill Point.

11:42 - Electrolyzer time.

12:44 - You can smash the heads off all the posts here for bolts.

13:21 - The last rocket we destroyed actually lifted off...and it blows up here.

14:21 - For this Infiltrator puzzle, go up, up, down-left, left, down-left, down-left, down, down-right.

14:54 - The Bouncer in action. Watch out for the globes in the ground, as they will raise out of the ground and shoot out a ring of shocking electricity that goes a short distance, which you'll want to avoid.

17:23 - You'll need to use the Infiltrator here to call an elevator. For this, you'll want to go down, down-left, down, down, up-right, down, down-left, down, down-left, up, up-left, down, down, down. The elevator will lead to a Nanotech boost.

As for the next room, enemies will spawn in up to a certain point as you keep fighting inside of it, so be ready to use weapons that will take care of multiple enemies easily.

19:53 - Another Infiltrator section. For this one, go left, down, right, down, down, down-right, up, down-right, up.

20:36 - At the end, you'll get a message from the tall female Ratchet, whose name is Angela Cross. She will tell you that Thugs-4-Less has taken over her flying lab, now that someone has made them a better offer, and that the experiment is known as "the Protopet." You'll then get a video for the Protopet, which Megacorp is more or less dying to give away as a pet. Clank says that he and Ratchet must get to Mr. Fizzwidget and warn him. Angela mentions that Fizzwidget is on planet Bolden, but has misgivings about whether or not you will be able to get Fizzwidget to come to his senses.

23:18 - We'll be going here next time, but in the meantime, we can get some more bolts.

Skill Points:

Nothing To See Here: Destroy the four large rockets in the beginning area of Todano.

You're My Hero: Protect all ten tourists from squirrels in the beginning area of Todano so that they all get through a tour. Thankfully, you can get the tour to loop back to the beginning and try again, so you don't have to do this on the first shot.

PrinceWatercress plays Ratchet and Clank: Going Commando - Part 26 of 54

Now that we have the Gravity Boots, let's head back to Tabora and get some Raritanium.

First | Previous | Next | End

Now that we have the Gravity Boots, we can walk up metallic walkways. The first one we'll be walking up is in Tabora, and it leads to a mining machine! Triangle enters and exits, X accelerates, Circle reverses, Square drills, and L2 and R2 strafe.

Use the orange arrow at the top center, the map in the upper-left and the distance meter in the lower right to find out where all the Raritanium is. When the orange arrow goes somewhere and points down someplace, go there and hold Square to drill the Raritanium out. Use the gauge on the lower-right to see the Raritanium get pulled up. If you've destroyed all the enemies beforehand, this is a lot easier. Once you dig up all the Raritanium on the planet, you're done here, as the Raritanium here does not re-spawn.

There is also an energy bar on the bottom center in case enemies attack it. It doesn't come much into play for me very much here, since I've destroyed all of the enemies.

Also, the Chopper evolves into the Multi-Star in this video. When used, it splits into two smaller stars and does more damage when it hits an enemy.

PrinceWatercress plays Ratchet and Clank: Going Commando - Part 25 of 54

In this video, we start alternating between advancing the plot and going back to earlier areas to collect some stuff that we couldn't before.

First | Previous | Next | End

2:47 - As soon as we head to the Hrugis Cloud to meet Mr. Fizzwidget, we are under attack. We'll have to defeat the disposal facility's defenses.

3:31 - We'll have to destroy these six spinning turret discs that act as the defenses for this place in order to get out of this jam. Unfortunately, there's a repair droid that will repair these things, and our lasers aren't good enough. If you retry, the game reminds you that Slim Cognito's Ship Shack exists.

5:42 - Buy the Fusion Laser Cannons at Slim Cognito's. You're going to need them.

6:38 - This time, these turrets get destroyed. Afterwards, you'll find out from Fizzwidget that he could not make it and that he was at Megacorp's weapons facility. You'll then get the coordinates for Todano.

19:09 - That guy is just goin'.

20:03 - Remember that elevator shaft from Dobbo? Drop a Spiderbot in there to open a door with a Platinum Bolt behind it.

PrinceWatercress plays Ratchet and Clank: Going Commando - Part 24 of 54

It's time to take part in more of the Megacorp Games, evolve the Seeker Gun and get a Skill Point early.

First | Previous | Next | End

8:30 - The Amateur Circuit, the first of five hoverbike races in Joba and the easiest one. Watch out for the walls that dictate where you will be going at the beginning, and be careful with the boosts, as it an be easy to crash on this course.

I restart here a few times just to get a really good run.

Winning this course will net you the Charge Boots, but if you can win in 2:27.0 or less, you can get the "How Fast Was That?" Skill Point, which is barely get in this video.

Double-tap R1 with the Charge Boots equipped to quickly dash for as long as you hold R1. You don't exactly stop on a dime with these, so be careful.

17:21 - From here, I start replaying some battles I've already . Here, I start busting out the Synthenoids and some other guns to destroy to get some experience.

22:16 - The Arachnoid Battle. Here, I bust out the Megaturret Glove and the Synthenoids to cause some heavy damage and win this battle fairly quickly.

Also, the Seeker Gun becomes the HK22 gun. This shoots three homing missiles instead of one.

Skill Points:

How Fast Was That?: Finish a race on the hoverbike course on Joba in 2:27.0 or less. You can get it in Challenge 3, but it is possible to get it in Challenge 1 if you know what you're doing.

PrinceWatercress plays Ratchet and Clank: Going Commando - Part 23 of 54

It's time to go back to advancing the story, so in this entry, we're heading to Joba.

First | Previous | Next | End

2:23 - Shooting twelve of these birds nets you a Skill Point. Also, there are quite a few lights and boxes you can destroy at the start for bolts.

4:38 - Two new weapons! The Plasma Coil lets you fry enemies with electricity, and the Spider-Bot Glove lets you shoot out a mechanical spider that you can control for thirty seconds and blow up near enemies.

7:02 - The Swingshot allows you to head to the hoverbike race in Joba. We'll do these later.

10:12 - You'll need to use the Dynamo on the outside and long jump to get to the Nanotech Boost.

12:51 - The turret. Get on it so you can easily mow down the enemies around you. The left stick moves and Circle fires. The turret can also get rid of some of the doors around here, which you'll need to do to progress. Also, while you're on the turret, you're invincible, so fire away with reckless abandon!

15:40 - Well, that's one way to get a skill point.

17:55 - Use the Swingshot here to fight your way to a Platinum Bolt.

20:08 - Use the Dynamo here for some Super Mario Bros.-style platforming.

25:20 - It's the guy with the RYNO from the first game? You'll need to give him 20,000 bolts for the Levitator, which allows you to levitate off Levitator Pads. Hold X to fly upwards. There is a gauge to the right, and when it runs out, you'll be falling to the abyss below.

Before heading to the next area, which leads to the Joba battle arena, go up the tower to the left for a Platinum Bolt.

28:59 - As soon as you enter the battle arena, you'll be fighting some enemies immediately. Some enemies will be familiar, but there will be some new ones as well as enemies from this planet showing up as well. Winning here will net you the Gravity Boots, which allows you to walk on magnetic surfaces.

34:00 - The Cage Match with the Infiltrator. Jump in the area with the blue lights to fight on the wall so the lava doesn't envelop you. From here, you can fight enemies on the wall. Watch out for the rocks rising up from the lava. If possible, allow them to smash the enemies for you. Winning here nets you the Infiltrator. It's much like the Trespasser from the first game, but unlike the first game, the Infiltrator puzzles are a little different.

37:07 - Here, you'll need to use the left analog stick to move along the paths and go to six points on the circuit. You only have a very short amount of time to complete the circuit and get through. For this one, you'll want to go left, down-right, down, up-right, right, up-right. From here, you can return to the start of Joba.

Skill Points:

Bye Bye Birdies: Shoot down twelve of the white birds flying around on Joba.

PrinceWatercress plays Ratchet and Clank: Going Commando - Part 22 of 54

In this entry, we spend some time taking on some challenges in the Feltzin System as well as on Barlow.

First | Previous | Next | End

2:39 - Challenge 4 in the Feltzin System is a race. You'll get a ton of bolts if you win, but if you go through the entire race without missing a ring, you'll get a Platinum Bolt at the end.

7:19 - Challenge 2 at the hoverbike races in Barlow is the Intermediate Circuit. I make this look easier than it is. It's not much different from Challenge 1.

10:55 - Challenge 3 at the Barlow races is the Vokovar Circuit. This time, the caves are open, and you can use the caves as a shortcut to save some time. There will be a shortcut to the right all of a sudden, and if you can take it and still hit the boost after you enter, you can reach a time of under 2:10.

13:21 - The winning run. Completing any of the races in under 2:10 will net you a Skill Point.

PrinceWatercress plays Ratchet and Clank: Going Commando - Part 21 of 54

We head back to the battle arena in the Maktar Nebula to take on the last of the challenges.

First | Previous | Next | End

1:56 - The Mega Challenge! Time to destroy a whole bunch of enemies and get a whole bunch of bolts at the end. Oh, and getting gun experience. We need that, too. On the tenth and final battle, Chainblade shows up, but the wrench challenge is off and Megaturret Glove use is fair game, which means that he's getting torn apart.

6:10 - The Limited Weapon Challenge. Here, you have only eight shots with the Mini-Nuke to kill all the enemies. For best results, lump everyone together for one shot. You only have four rounds of this, so make your shots count. Also, see if you can get the enemies to inadvertently hit each other, as infighting can help you save a shot or two.

7:36 - The game calls this battle against Chainblade and B2 Brawler a "Tag Team Battle" when the proper term is "Handicap Match." Once again, bust out the big guns, including the Megaturret Glove, if you want to survive. Both bosses tag in and out at regular intervals, but The Megaturret Glove tears through them in record time.

9:04 - The Endurance Challenge. Here, I start using the Synthenoids to do some damage without having to use my guns. I should have kept using them a little more throughout the battle, because those things are awesome and are absolutely deserving of being evolved. Nevertheless, I do bust out more of my weapons to get experience for them. Also, make use of the ammo crates every so often to get some more ammo for your guns.

17:20 - The Ultimate Challenge. The Lava Gun is good for those sphere enemies. In Round 6, you'll face Chainblade. In Round 11, you'll face the B2 Brawler. In Round 15, you'll face Chainblade again, and in Round 16, you'll face B2 Brawler and a punch of sphere enemies. The Megaturret Glove will make these four rounds much easier.

At this rate, there isn't much left to do in Maktar Nebula.

PrinceWatercress plays Ratchet and Clank: Going Commando - Part 20 of 54

We're not done in the Maktar Nebula yet. We get some more experience and take on some more challenges, then take on some more challenges in the Feltzin System.

First | Previous | Next | End

1:25 - Battling the B2 Brawler. The Megaturret Glove helps make quick work of this thing if you want to take it down in seconds and get a Skill Point for beating it without taking a hit. You'll also unlock some things in Slim Cognito's, too.

3:36 - The time challenge. The Megaturret Glove helps here a lot.

5:29 - Building up some more experience.

9:54 - The Limited Weapon Challenge. Here, we have only 300 shots with the Heavy Lancer and 15 rounds to get through. You'll need to gently tap the Circle button to let off one or two shots at a time. You also can't use your wrench here. Somehow, I managed to complete this one.

16:36 - If you go down into this recess in the spaceship in the Feltzin System, you'll find a Nanotech Boost.

17:40 - In Challenge 2 in the Feltzin System, you'll need to destroy thirty Space Wasps in two minutes. Thankfully, the wasps act like much like the regular ship enemies, so all you have to do is let them come to you in addition to using your radar to chase after any that are about to fly your way.

21:59 - In Challenge 3, you'll take on only ten enemies, but they can take a beating before going down. Be ready to dodge a ton of lasers and pump them full of lasers to take them down.

Kickmaster - The OST

Here's the whole soundtrack in one playlist...

...the whole soundtrack in one video...

...and the whole soundtrack in one video with echo and reverb!

PrinceWatercress plays Ratchet and Clank: Going Commando - Part 19 of 54

In this entry, we take some time away from the story to get some things.

First | Previous | Next | End

2:40 - The Nanotech Boost in Tabora. You'll need to ascend with the glider so that you can get to the top of the fourth tower in the lava trail.

7:54 - Replaying the Electrolyzer fight in the Maktar Nebula arena for more experience.

11:33 - The Blitz Gun becomes the Blitz Cannon, which shoots a lightning shot with even further range.

12:58 - The Hazard Challenge. Once again, you're taking out all the enemies, although the hazards you'll need to avoid are the centerpiece of all this.

14:38 - The Chainblade Challenge. When he gets in front of you, do an airborne wrench strike. When he backs up and slices at the floor, jump while strafing. Beating him with just the wrench gives you a skill point.

17:01 - Buying the Synthenoid. The Synthenoid unleashes four support robots that float next to you and shoot at nearby enemies. They won't last forever and they will eventually disappear after each one shoots enough times. These things can help against multiple enemies.

17:20 - The Time Challenge. You'll need to beat 30 enemies in 30 seconds. The Lava Gun and the Megaturret Glove can really help here.

Skill Points:

Wrench Ninja: Blade to Blade: Beat Chainblade in the Maktar Nebula battle arena using only the wrench.

Controls:

As Ratchet:

Control Pad/Left Analog Stick: move

Rainiac plays Kickmaster - Part 8 of 8

We finally take on Belzed and save the kingdom in this explosive finale!

Sector 8: Belzed's Haunted Tower

The first part of this level is a vertical climb. You'll be dealing mostly with enemies from the last sector, including the spinning blue projectiles, which you'll want to destroy immediately. Take your time and make sure you don't fall past the bottom of the screen at any point. Make sure you get your MP back to full as you're here, as you're going to need the MP.

The first mini-boss you'll face here is the demon who kidnapped the princess! He will dive back and forth in addition to flying back and forth. You'll want to stay close to him and keep hitting him with the Double Front Kick in the air, and you'll want to avoid the spinning blades that he shoots at you.

When you reach Level 7, which is the maximum level you can reach, you'll learn the Blazing Flip Kick, which replaces the upward kick that you've had from the beginning of the game. Hold Up and press B to hit an enemy in front of you with a flip kick and deal powerful damage.

From the first mini-boss battle, head left. Take out the knights and make sure you get above the steam so it doesn't touch you. Use the Magic Boots magic here to walk on the spikes and get to the second mini-boss, which is a centaur. Avoid the arrows and keep smashing him with the Blazing Flip Kick. He's done.

At this point, the easy part of the level is over, as the next vertical section has balls falling from the top of the screen and spikes coming out from underneath the floor on certain platforms. You'll also have to deal with the mages that teleport in and out of the screen to hit you with fireballs that home in on you. As always, take your time, and always land near the edge of a platform rather than the center of one in case of spikes.

The third mini-boss, which takes place in this final vertical section, is the stone dragon mini-boss from Sector 3. This will be even easier this time around, as you can use the Earthquake magic when the mini-boss is somewhere you can easily destroy them with the Double Butterfly Kick without having to worry much about the falling balls.

After you get to the top, break through the blocks and go left, you'll finally face Belzed herself. Of course, you'll have to fight the four statues, one at a time, to get to them. Keep hitting the statues in the head with Flying Kicks, and they'll eventually turn into random normal enemies until they eventually die. At least they're easier to deal with once they keep transforming. When they're frogs, keep hitting them with the Double Front Kick while they're airborne, as they can turn into the armadillo soldiers.

You'll soon face Belzed after taking out all four statues. Watch the skies to avoid the lightning, which can do a whole bar of damage, and use the Earthquake magic when Belzed is where you can get her in order to do some damage. Once you beat Belzed, Thonolan will use his Harpy Magic to fly the princess out of Belzed's castle and get out of there. You've just beaten Kick Master!
