In this episode, we take on the demon Envy.

The queen that lived in this castle was conquered by the demon Jealousy (also known as Envy). Destroying the flame of her jealousy is the only way to defeat the demon.
Once again, you're underwater. As you head right, you'll see a head floating around in the background. It does nothing, thankfully.
All of the enemies from Tortoise Island show up here, and there aren't any new ones to speak of. Make it a priority to save your magic, since you'll need it when facing Envy.
To clear the long spike pit at the beginning of the third section, be sure to hit your head on the ceiling as you glide to the other side.
You'll eventually fight the huge head you saw at the beginning of the level. This is Envy. Just keep whacking the head back whenever it gets near, and you'll eventually take on the real boss fight.
Instead of Envy's head, you have to attack the flame of jealousy in the middle of the huge statue in the room. Hit the ghost heads that surround Envy with the downward stab, then use the Energy Orb magic to attack the flame. The flame will go down after a few successful casts.
When you beat Envy/Jealousy, the land around the temple returns...and so does the nearby town of Devote! Turns out the queen grew suspicious of her lover, and felt the land she ruled upon was too small. Her jealousy soon consumed everything, including herself.
