Just when you thought it was the last job of the day...
Well, you could get back to the office. Instead, the teleporter doesn't work, and those black blobs come out of the walls...in much bigger size. You'll be sent flying back to the teleporter room back at HQ with a thud and sent to the nearby hospital. Thankfully, you'll wake up mostly unharmed. You'll find out those black blobs causes the teleporter to go haywire. You'll find out they also have a name: negativus legatia. Negativus legatia are pieces of one's past that have been cast off. You'll also find out they are coming from the broken server on Hekichi Plateau. Since the transport system is broken, you'll have to be sent there through a manual connection.
On the elevator ride back down to the teleporter, you'll get the Jacket. If you've ever paid attention to the clothes hanger in the shops, this is what it's for. This jacket does more than keep your warm; it also absorbs one attack before your precious hit points are put at risk. When you head out, Pink realizes that the blog that the president was keeping was a negativus legativa. The cat realizes that he and Pink will have to take care of that thing themselves, since you're not around.
Stage 5: Hekichi Plateau
You'll be face deep in snow when you land. Thankfully, you can move normally at the beginning.
You'll be greeted by spikes and snowballs at the beginning. Use Fire to take out everything on the way up. From here, you'll want to carefully double-jump to the right, and use Fire to take out the evil pink freezer that spits snowballs.
In the cave, you'll see icy stalactites and claws that will drop huge snowballs at you. There are also ice floors that make you slip around and solid purple ice blocks that you can destroy with Fire. The guys that spit snowflakes at you also fall very easily with the Fire weapon. If you need to, fire Bubbler/Balloon at the snow to get rid of hidden enemies.
The enemy that hides in the snow bear can be very annoying. Its block throwing attack and its ability to blow you back is not a problem, but when you do enough damage to it when it lifts the bear head up, it will throw the head upwards in a last-ditch attack, and if that hits you, it's instant death. It can also randomly leave a bag of money behind when you take it down, too.
You'll eventually go inside the building. There's an easy 1-up that you can nab at the beginning. You'll eventually come across a lift. Take it up and use Fire to take down the ice blocks above, and avoid the falling icicles that keep coming down. You'll get the fan started, but this will awaken a negativus legatia. Avoid it as it flies around, and either avoid or shoot down its diagonally travelling projectiles. Double jump over it when it turns black and red and moves around the room. Using the Quad or Ninja weapon is a much better choice, since you can easily wipe out the boss here with them.
After beating this boss, you can go back down and go to the store. If you need the jacket, go ahead and take it. It's always free.
Fire can be upgraded to the Burner, and the Burner to the Melter. Burner travels further than Fire, and Melter creates a flame barrier around you when it is fired. The barrier moves forward when you stop firing. Those are the only upgrades for it. Also, Hearts wil cost 10 coins instead of 1 from this point on, so save your coins if you need to refill your health.
You'll eventually come across a windy area. Travel across it carefully while shooting everything down, and watch out for the negativus legatia that drop down from the sky like bombs. You'll then enter another building, and this time there will be underwater areas. The negativus legatia you see shortly after the first water area will run back and forth quickly when shot, and they always start running in the direction they've been shot from, so be very careful if you have to dodge them. You'll then have to do some jetpacking to some small platforms to make it to the server. When you get there, however, you'll meet up with a huge negativus legatia with orange orbs in its body. You can walk on it if you need to get over it, but it's instant death if it crushes you against a wall.
Fire at and destroy the orange orbs around its body first, then get on the ground and be ready to avoid its extending arms while shooting down any negativus legatia bombs it sends at you. There will still be a weak spot in the form of another orange orbs, but it will only be exposed when the boss stops moving. You'll have to be patient to get a good shot on it.
When you destroy the last orb, you'll destroy the negativus legatia. You'll then hear a phone ring in the next room. Pick it up, and the cat will tell you that the server is working again. Unfortunately, there's no teleporter there, so you'll have to take the train to get back. Thankfully, the ticket is on the company.
When you make your way back to the room before the boss, you'll be mysteriously teleported to the train station.
