DeceasedCrab plays Kero Blaster - Part 2 of 28

Time for some more jumping and shooting...as well as some interesting music. Gotta love the music in this game!

Stage 2: Greenery Zone

The Fan will lay waste to a lot of the enemies in this level, especially the purple snake enemies that jump out of the ground. It's better than your original default weapon, which doesn't do as well underwater even when upgraded.

The blue plants here will jump up and spit fireballs at you. Avoid the fireballs and keep bringing on the pain.

Watch out with some of the brown snails, as sometimes there will be some that drop down from the top of the screen. The purple birds will dive down at you, but they won't stand a chance against the Fan.

Go up at the start of the second section to get a whole bunch of coins.

The yellow wall heads will spit fireballs at you. They have 16 hit points and don't attack an awful lot.

The mud puddles will slow you down if you walk on them.

The bees will position themselves for attack when struck. Keep firing at them when they do; they don't have a lot of health at all.

Upgrading the Fan once will change it to the Wide, which is even bigger and more powerful. You'll definitely want this as soon as possible.

The one-eyed beasties that pop out of the mud will charge at you. Wide will definitely wipe them out.

The brown clouds just fly to the other side of the screen. Hitting them once will turn them purple and flat, and cause them to fly away faster. Thankfully, that's all they do.

You'll eventually come across a bridge with a chest on the other side. When you try to cross it, though, two mud beasties will disassemble the bridge and cause you to drop down to a boss battle. Fight off the beasties, then wait for the big guy to arrive. Keep firing at it with Wide and jump over it when you reach either edge of the wooden platform.

Beating the boss here will award you with Bubble, which roll forward at a low altitude and also floats on the surface of water. It may come in handy in certain situation.

You can reach the other side of the bridge and open the chest after this, but all the chest contains is a mud beastie.

After this, it's time to clear out the teleporter room and head back to the office. When you report to the president again, however, she's even bigger than before, and so is the blob in the tank behind her. Her word bubbles will contain nothing but those blob creatures that you've been seeing in the teleport room...and they're dropping out of the bubbles. Your co-workers will have no idea what's going on, but they're more pre-occupied with the current work at hand, so it's off to the next stage for you.
