DeceasedCrab plays Kero Blaster - Part 9 of 28

We complete the adventure...but we're not done yet...

DeceasedCrab has some new weapons. The Laser is just that: a laser that goes through enemies and is pretty powerful. There is an upgrade after that called the Laser Uzi, which is the same as Laser but allows for rapid fire.

Here's the stuff from last entry involving the final form of the boss for those who don't want to click back:

Use the binary numbers it shoots out as platforms, and avoid the blobs traveling across the floor and watch for the "Errors!" that the monolith shoots at you. Keep shooting at this thing with a powerful weapon, and watch the skies for the monolith itself when it goes from one side to another as well as any attacks such as the lightning strikes that it has. Whenever the monolith comes down, jump to avoid the waves of negativus legatia energy that moves across the floor.

When you bring its health down to half, the boss gets crazy. The boss has red and then green before teleporting, and it shoots out dark energy beams that come straight down from the top of the screen while it's in the air. Watch for the white targets to see where they'll land beforehand, and remember their positions quickly. The rate of fire with the Error! projectiles is also increased. Using the Laser or Laser Uzi will do a ton of damage in a short time.

When you beat this thing, the negativus legatia will disappear and your co-workers will be freed. The cat and Pink take Frog to the hospital, while the president lands on the roof of her office and wakes up afterward. Frog will wake up in the hospital again. Now that the negativus legatia is gone, everything is back to normal in the world. The president shows up and places flowers in the vase behind the bed, then says something and leaves. After this, the credits roll.

During the credits, you'll find out that the president has replaced the negativus legatia in the tank with a fish. After that, it's back to work as usual.

But wait, there's more! After the credits roll, one of the shopkeepers will tell you if you were satisfied with your playthrough. Say "yes," and you'll repeat the final level. Say "no," and your character will turn yellow, you'll lose all your money, you'll be knocked down to one hit point and two lives, and you'll be sent back to Hinterland Fort. You will, however, keep the jetpack and all your weapons from your first playthrough. Welcome to New Game Plus mode!

Stage 1: Hinterland Fort

The enemies will not get harder, but there will be a few secrets along the way.

Remember the bridge with the discolored tiles near it. There is a part of the bridge you can break with the Ninja weapon. Break it and go down, and you'll find a short underground passage in the discolored tiles that leads to the Kuro Blaster, a mysterious weapon. Level 1 is a short range, rapid fire shot that only moves forward, but it's really fast and pretty powerful.
