DeceasedCrab plays Kero Blaster - Part 7 of 28

You thought the train was the end of the level?

When you take the train, you'd think that would be the end of the level, right? Wrong. Head right and shoot down any negativus legatia with the red eyes. At the end, you'll face a boss. It's a bunch of negativus legatia carrying a giant clock with a bird on it...and the bird is a jerk that shoot projectiles at you.

Shoot at the blobs with the Bubbler (or the Star Mine, if you have it), and avoid the blobs that drop down on you from the ceiling by moving past them. Then, equip Quad, as the clock will grow legs and have three  The bird will send out other birds, and the clock will send out other locks. Shoot all of these projectiles down. If you have the Laser or the Ninja, these weapons work much better than the Quad.

After you deal enough damage, the clock will have six gears surrounding its face. It will then get mad and shoot the gears at you. Use a long distance weapon and shoot at the clock face. After enough damage, it will finally fall, and you'll also see two blue birds on a push cart that was behind the boss the whole time.

Meanwhile, at work, Pink and The Cat will head to the boss' office to tangle with the negativus legatia. Unfortunately, it has overrun the office and the flies that were once buzzing about are dead. Pink and The Cat bring it outside, but it starts flashing red. Before they can do anything, the President returns, Pink and The Cat are overpowered, the President is bloated again, and the whole city is taken over by the negativus legatia.

Stage 7: Back to the Office

After that long train trip back to the city, you'll start in the subway. Head left and take down all the enemies you see...and get that money, because you'll be getting a lot of it here and you'll have to fight to get to the store! The Pink Hour miniboss makes its Kero Blaster debut here as a normal enemy. You'll also meet another guy behind a counter that throws ticket punches at you.

You'll eventually make your back outside, and you'll find out that it has been overrun with enemies that you've met before. Even the water here in the park is polluted. That's not good. You'll make your way through the park and into the streets itself. You'll be up against a lot of enemies, so keep on firing as you make your way through town.

You'll meet the shield plant mini-boss again, but this time you have much stronger weapons to mow it down with. If you go back to the area where it was, minor plant enemies will be where it once was.

You'll then see a building that looks like a convenience store. This is the store for the stage. Here, DeceasedCrab finally grabs the Ninja, which is a powerful upgrade of the Quad that bounces off walls and works well in tight spaces. Strangely, you can't get the jacket for an extra hit here. Oh, well...
