It's time to head to Dark Passage. There are two paths here, and you'll need to take both to find everything.
Dark Passage
This level is pretty weird.
When the guys with the torches extend their arms, the dogs and turtles turn into ferocious, otherworldly beasts. In their normal forms, the dogs and turtles will try to spit lava rocks at you. As monsters, the dogs will try to eat you, and the turtles are invincible.
The guys with the torches do not drop gems. Take them out if you need to, since they can be slightly annoying. They also respawn after a few seconds.
The devils will shoot at you from bow and arrows. They're probably the easiest enemies to deal with here.
You won't be able to break open that impenetrable metal chest until you find the firecracker. You'll have to make your way through all the areas until you find it, and by the time you do you'll most likely have all the gems (unless you missed one somewhere).
