DeceasedCrab plays Trilby's Notes - Part 2 of 13

Well, this game got grim pretty quickly.

Trilby takes advantage of Professor Chahal's absent-mindedness in just a matter of moments, and scores an opportunity to see what he's up to. He takes you up to his room for drinks, where you'll meet his assistant, Siobhan O'Malley. After Trilby takes a seat, Siobhan joins him. As they chat it up, Abed joins them and asks what they should talk about.

Here's how the Q&A sessions work in this game: you'll have to type the topic of conversation you want into the game with the keyboard. If you haven't been paying attention, you're probably screwed.

Talk to Abed about DeFoe Manor. It appears that with all the crazy stuff that's been going on regarding it, fact and fiction have both collided into one another. He managed to find some books, furniture and...the idol.

Ask Abed about the idol. When Trilby tries to take it off Abed's hands, Abed tells him it's located in the hotel safe. He will work out a deal for it after the fair once he shows it off along with the other artifacts. You'll also find out that he's also found the burnt rocking chair and the painting. As they talk, the scene goes from normal to apocalyptically horrifying. The room is bare, blood is everywhere, and there is a charred skeleton sitting where Siobhan was. You'll also meet a tall, pale man in a black cloak. Yep, that's the Tall Man aka the Prince from 6 Days A Sacrifice. The room then turns back to normal, and both Abed and Siobhan apparently didn't even notice what was going on.

Trilby leaves the room (Abed is in Room 2B, by the way), and the hallway becomes the same as the room. You'll see the Tall Man walk to the left. There is also a message on the wall written in blood that says "His body is here, his soul is not." Hmmmm...

When you re-enter Room 2B, you'll notice that the couch is slashed open and that there's a severed head on the table.

Go to the doorway to the left and you'll enter the stairwell. Go to the very top, and you'll find a message in blood saying "Bring her back," with a human torso devoid of a head, hands and feet to the right. Go to the bottom of the stairwell, and you'll find...something.
