Touch the stump. You'll trigger one last flashback. It's Cabadath! He summons forth a pain elemental known as Chzo. Chzo grabs Cabadath, and Galdn betrays him in his time of need. Cabadath's agony becomes a fine meal for Chzo.

Cabadath's soul was placed in an oak sapling, which grew and grew, giving his body immortality. Cabadath became The Prince. Chzo is the king.

Siobhan is still here. So is Lenkmann. Lenkmann explains that John DeFoe was killed with the idol made from the wood that was The Prince's soul, infusing John DeFoe with Chzo's magic and causing him to not only come back much more powerful than ever before, but also causing him to be intertwined with Cabadath/The Prince.

Chzo has finally been able to connect the bridge between the Realm of Technology and the Realm of Magick after 2000 years. Lenkmann reveals that he's not part of the Ministry of Occultism...he's part of the Order of Blessed Agonies. The Book of Chzo not only foretold John DeFoe, but also Trilby. Trilby would guide the Bridgekeeper to his destiny. Lenkmann then stabs Trilby with a knife.


Trilby wakes up, weakened and lying on the stump. Siobhan is gagged and tied down. Lenkmann summons Cabadath...
