DeceasedCrab plays Trilby's Notes - Part 3 of 13

My word, it's been quite a while since we covered an alternate dimension. Especially one in this series in general!

Turns out that bloody mess at the bottom of the stairwell is a body in an old military uniform. The body is that of a muscular young man, the head is missing and the hands are almost worn down to nothing. Get right up to the pieces of paper on the ground and read the pages. Turns out this guy found out the hotel was cursed somehow, and he and his wife Felicia died at the hands of the Tall Man before they could get out. We're also nearing the anniversary of this guy's death, too.

Go right from the body to enter the lobby. The lobby is also screwed up, and the painting is nowhere to be seen. There's nothing you can really do here, so leave the hotel. Even outside, the world is tainted by...whoever this is. If you keep going left or right, you'll find out the path just loops back around to the hotel. Go back in the lobby and go left. Enter the door to the north. You'll find a poster of the Tall Man in the building. (Strange.) Go to the bar and pick up the pliers. Leave the room and keep going left. You'll find the "alternate" dining room, complete with another corpse and the message "It heeds." It heeds what? Go up to the lump of meat on the table and take the meat. Trilby will take a lump off of it. Then, use the pliers on the nails that are holding the body up against the restroom door. The body turns into the Tall Man, who then disappears.

This is creepy.

Go into the restroom. Get the envelope that sits on the counter across from the mirror, and you'll find both a bottle of pills and a note that is strangely addressed to Trilby. The pills are tranquilizers, as whoever wanted Trilby to get this message knows how this alternate realm "shows up." Turns out this "whoever" is Agent Lenkmenn, who is leaving it all to you to find DeFoe as he explores the alternate hotel phenomenon. Eat a pill, and you'll end up back in the real world. Go back to the lobby and use the lockpicks on the office door. Open the safe, and you'll find out it amazingly empty.
