DeceasedCrab plays Trilby's Notes - Part 8 of 13

We explore even more of the alternate - and real hotel - and get even more leads as to what happened on July 28th throughout the ages.

Go down the stairs and you'll see the Tall Man playing the harpischord. When you shoot the Tall Man, he turns to Wilbur, and Wilbur will be dead. The Tall Man will re-appear behind Jack, and Jack will pledge to become redeem himself for his offense, calling him "your majesty" as he does so. Apparently Frehorn knows who this guy is. (Yep, it's The Prince.) The Tall Man will then disappear.

You'll be back in the real world, and find out that Frehorn creates a bizarre religious cult. Siobhan is gone, and there is a piece of paper near the door. Pick it up, and you'll learn about Victim #3 - Jack Frehorn - as viewed by what appears to be the point of view of some cult.

The Prince is the man who struck Wilbur down, and he used to go by the name "The Arrogant Man." The name of the cult he created? The Order of Blessed Agonies. (Yes, a reference to 6 Days a Sacrifice.)

Head back to the lobby, and you'll be in the alternate realm again. If you take a pill, it won't work anymore. Go back to the dining room, and you'll find Lenkmann. He'll unlock another door, and then automatically disappear.

There's nothing of real importance here in the kitchen, so enter the door to the north. Do not walk into the trail of bugs in this room, as they will immediately kill you. Use the meat to distract them, then walk to the body and look at it. The water apparently has kept the hand on it from decaying, and if you drink the water, you'll find out it's completely unlike the rest of this alternate realm - it's actually pure and welcoming. Trilby will place a few drops of the water into the pill bottle and distribute them amongst the pills. You'll then be back in the hotel's cellar in the real world.

Head out and return to the souvenir room (where you found the chisel). You'll be able to open it normally this time. As expected, Abel doesn't believe anything that's going on. Ask him about the Unicorn. You'll get to touch his shingle, and you'll find out that the Unicorn dates back to the Elizabethan period.
