We deal with worms, another dragon and awesome music. Nice.
Episode 2
Some of the enemies are more of the same, but the big threat here are the giant worms that dive in and out of the sand. Take them out as early as possible so they won't get in your way (or eventually catch up with you).
When you enter the cave, use your lock-on shots to take out all those scorpion-like bugs that crawl out of the sand and lunge at you. If you have to, use your regular shots as well.
Once you come out of the cave, you'll be dealing with two giant sand worms. Shoot down the ooze that they launch at you, and use your lock-on shots on its body to take it out slightly faster. Don't worry about that large swarm of bugs at the beginning, they can't really do anything to you.
Once they're gone, you'll be dealing with the Dark Dragon for the first time. Avoid its energy blasts and hit it with your lock-on shots. After a while, it'll fly circles around you and send other projectiles at you. Use your lock-on shots to take these things out, and make taking out the Dark Dragon your number one priority. When you beat him, he'll escape. You haven't seen the last of this powerful foe...
Episode 3
The music here is just god-awesome.
The warships make a return appearance, but only as a regular enemy. Shoot down any cannon fire that comes your way and destroy them like you did before. Watch out for any drones that they may send out at you, as well as any creatures crawling around the ground.
Destroy the machines that you see right after the first arch.
The turrets shortly afterward shoot cannon fire at you. You can take them out with the regular shots, but lock-on shots work better if you see them in groups.
The enemies at the end is some sort of mechanical spider-like tank. When the top combines with the bottom, the boss gauge will pop up and the battle bigs. Shoot the little yellow square between the top of its body and the fan blades (if you need to, use lock-on shots to home in on it). Avoid the fan blades as they move toward you.
For its second form, the bottom falls off and the top grows legs. The bottom then moves to the ceiling of this new form and becomes its protective cover. It will then jump around and also have two weak points. Aim for either of the two yellow squares on it (once again, use lock-on shots), and avoid that cannon fire while you're looking behind you. It will also fire out cones that explode, which send shrapnel at you just when you're about to turn around. Thankfully, these cones can be destroyed with regular shots before they can pose a threat.
The top will fall off when it's nearly destroyed. It's pretty easy by that point.
