lukenuetzmann plays Super Mario Land 2: 6 Golden Coins BLIND - Part 3 of 5

This is a long level, but we finish off Macro Zone and cover the entirety of the Pumpkin Zone in this entry!

MACRO ZONE

(continued)


Inside the House


The blocks with the arrows work as a conveyor block. They don't move you very fast, but they usually move you right into a waiting Pirahna Plant.

The Starman can be used to farm a life with the five Koopas you passed by. Just stay on top of the pipes to take out all five.

Boss Level


When you hit the block with the Heart, a witch will magically appear and run off with it. Run into the witch to get the 1-up.

There are conveyor belts here, so be careful if you're at the bottom of the level.

To beat the boss, jump on the rat's head while it's upright. Three hits and it's history.

PUMPKIN ZONE


To the right of the Macro Zone, which isn't far away, is the Pumpkin Zone.

Crypt


This is a pretty simple level, just watch out for the spikes that drop from the ceiling. They shake a little bit before they make their way down.

Avoid the balls that move up and down the chains. They're indestructible, too.

Near the end you can take the higher path and find a vampire. If you jump off a bat that he throws, you can reach the door to the secret level.

Secret Level 1


If you're Bunny Mario, you can press A repeatedly to get as many coins as possible and also fly past the exit door. If you do that and make it all the way to the right without taking out any of the Goombas, you'll find a Starman that you can use to take them all down and farm a few lives with.

This level's just for fun, but it's really nice.

Graveyard


Haunted laterns that can hit you with their mouths, one-eyed onis that run around, fireballs, parasols that move on their own...and temples! This graveyard is thoroughly Japanese.

Further into the level, you'll meet the Boo Buddies for the umpteenth time. Just like in every other Mario game, face away from them to get them to move out of your way.

Haunted Church


There's another secret door if you leap off the highest platform near the end and fly to the right with Bunny Mario. It's just after the part where you have to take those flashing platforms above all those spikes.

You cannot jump on the Ghost Goombas and expect to live, so avoid them.

Some of the platforms flash, so look around and pay attention if you don't know where to go next.

Secret Level 2


It's a blast from the past as you leap from one oversized mushroom to another! If you have the Fire Flower, you can take down the blocks that block your path and even get a few 1-Ups!

Boss Level


It's a haunted house that's basically a culmination of everything you've seen in this world, as well as some other things, such as some things that leap back and forth that look like eels and cauldrons that work double duty as platforms.


To beat the boss here, jump on the witch's head three times. Don't let the lids send you straight into the spikes!
