corona180 plays TaleSpin - Part 3 of 5

Well, now that the baseball stadium is out of the way, I won't have to make any more perspective jokes...

Wait...Level 4 is what?

...

Never mind.

Stage 3

Boy, is it ever rainy. At least this stage makes much more sense than that ginormous baseball stadium.

The grey birds (I'm guessing that's what they are) are out in full force, but they can be taken out easily.

After the first vertical section, you'll see the bombs. They're easy to take out, but they pop up rather suddenly. Stay away from the ceiling and you won't get hit out of the blue.

The spiked balls are indestructible, and they shoot lightning in four diagonal directions. You'll have to time your movements carefully to keep from taking unnecessary damage.

The boss, or rather, bosses here are Mad Dog and Dumptruck (probably the most well-known of Don Karnage's Air Pirate goons. You'll have to avoid their attacks and wait for them to combine into one plane, then shoot them before they separate again. While you're doing that, back up so the missile they shoot as well as the resulting shrapnel won't hit you.

Stage 4

Well, here's a derp moment for you. A haunted house that's big enough for the Sea Duck to fly around in. I thought I would never see this in a shmup.

Anyway, the chandeliers fall when you get under them, but they can be easily be avoided. The hats on the coat racks can be taken down as soon as they come off and attack, making them all too easy. They come towards you when they rise into the air, but they stop tracking you after that.

The ghosts not only home in on you, they also split into smaller ghosts when you hit them. Thankfully, their miniature clones go down rather easily. It's just their homing capabilities that are annoying.

The fireplaces shoot out small flames into the air, and those flames have some range. You can't take them out, so stay well above them and move on.

The hands that come out of the wall are very annoying and throw balls at you. They go down in a few hits, but they're small enough to almost not notice. When they come out of the wall, they punch part of the brick wall in the background out and into the air, and those portions of the wall can cause damage if they touch you.

The boss here is a giant invisible man. Avoid his fists and aim for the bowtie.
