Now that you've hit that faceplate, let's go to the right of the main chamber and go through the lower-most nook in the wall. You'll take on the Mini-Taur.
Your best bet here is to equip the Horn Spear and let loose with both this and your spells. The Mini-taur isn't too hard. When youkill him, a faceplate will show up in the middle of the room. Step on it.
