Desert
If you go to the left of the entrance to Nobilia and stand in a certain spot, you'll be pushed around in a circle. Standing in this area actually saps your hit points a little more than just being in the middle of the desert.
If you stand in this area long enough, you'll eventually get sucked into the sand. Go to the right, and you'll get 99 Rice and 99 Spice before being dumped back above ground.

Now that you have The Dog again, go back to the Right Bank, which is west of the pirate ship. From there, switch to The Dog and use the Run button at the end of the bridge to jump to the other side. From there, take the lift to the right side. Now you can take The Boy and The Dog further west of Crustacea.
